I just reinstalled P7 and I cannot seem to get the renderer set up right.  Everything is winding up blurry.

Hi
Have you tryied to increase the render settings to the highest quality? The default settings of firefly render are not excellent, you must change them to get quality.

Where is the Texture Filtering check box and the Max Texture Size slider?

Is it the render that is blurry, or the .jpg file you're saving?  Because P7 has some issues with jpg format compressing too much/losing too much quality.

Texture Filtering is in the material room on the texture boxes, you have to adjust it manually for each item, there are 3 settings to choose from. I never used TF myself in P6 as my system couldn't cope, be haven't needed to turn it off in P7 yet.

Don't know where Max Texture Size is, haven't found it yet.

My understanding is that P7 always renders at the max. texture size!!

Poser 7's firefly doesn't need to load all textures in memory before it can render (it'll load/unload them). Thus there's no need to reduce memory usage via max. texture size - as that's been a bad work around anyway.
