Everything in the scene has reflections directly below, except for V4 and the chair she's sitting on.  Any ideas????  :(

Hmmm, odd.

Make certain that "visible in raytracing" is enabled in the individual objects property areas.

Did you use Ambient Occlusion?  I know that you need to add another light to the scene to bring out reflections, if you have a spot light on the background, but not hitting you character, then the background would reflect and her not.  A low Infinite light might help.

Um, these are just guesses, as I don't know your lighting set up, but they are my best guesses.

Hope it helps, let us know.

Good luck.

I checked, and "visible in raytracing" is on for everything.

The lighting I've used is "Albany Night AO" that comes with P7.  There's 2 lights...one is labeled HDR IBL (Diffuse IBL) and the other is labeled Specular Only (Infinite).

Sometimes it helps to check smoothing in the rendersettings, it solved some reflection problems I had some weeks ago.

Well, I did a test render here with that same set -- PoserWorld's Warehouse Bedroom -- and that same light set, and the reflections work fine for me. You may have checked this already, but the piece of that set you're expecting to reflect V4 is actually some distance below Poser's "ground" level. If your figure and chair are sitting on the "ground," they're actually floating above that surface, and the reflections may be there, but fall out the bottom of the rendered image.

With Jimmy,, It's a triangle from object to reflective surface to camera. I think your camera is too low to see the figure.

Thanks so much everyone!  I really appreciate the help.  😄

bopperthijs, "smooth polygons" is on.  I usually try to keep that checked for every render, unless it starts inflating objects.  I had no idea that it could also affect reflections.  Good to know!  Thanks!

After my last post last night, I tried moving V4 to the upper portion of the floor, with all the other props.  The reflections showed up perfectly, and I ended up getting a better composition.  Tried to do a large render but it was chugging along so slowly that I had to leave it rendering when I went to bed.  When I woke up this morning it had crapped out just after rendering her head.  sigh  Guess I'll just have to try again at a smaller size.

jimmy1 and richardson, I will definitely give those a try today and see what happens!  That must be what my problem is!  I wasn't really paying attention when I loaded the scene and I just assumed the bottom portion of the floor had loaded at ground level.  Heh.

Thanks again!
