There is both a phone number and an email form to be found at the e frontier site (Curious Labs no longer exists technically).
Here's the long and short of it. Goto www.e-frontier.com and download the latest service release for Poser 5. This'll fix your problem. Also, I may suggest taking a moment and reviewing the Poser knowledge base at e frontier, as there may be other issues you may run into that you can resolve without needing to ask.

Okay, things like this I usually suggest taking to Tech support to resolve but it's late and you'd have to wait until tomorrow, which sucks - so here goes:
Install Poser 5.
Run the Service Release to update Poser 5
Start Poser 5 via the Start Menu or the desktop Icon.
Enter your serial number if asked to do so.
That's it.
If it still doesn't work, you'll have to contact Tech Support, as there may be a larger issue involved. The updater only works if Poser is already installed, so installing Poser after running the updater (which is what it sounds like you did) will not resolve the issue. I hope this helped. A friend got me Poser 5 and I installed it...a few weeks ago my son had to reformatt my computer and when I did the program had to be re installed as well....
It did fine until I got to the challenge code and it said I needed to Unlock Poser 5
I am so new at this...I am not understanding what they mean...
I sent them an e mail and explained my situation...when I got the program i put in the serial code etc...and it did fine..now am needing to re install it and getting this message....
What do I do...Curious Labs has their addy why not a phone number especially for newbies like me and is their any way to get to them via a phone?
Any help most appreciated....
