Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 4:20 pm)
You can use a cr2 editor (those will edit other poser files too, btw) to strip out targetGeom (morph) and valueParm (morph controllers, usually located in the BODY bodypart).
A good one is CR2Builder by kim99. Don't know the link off the top of my head, it was 3minutesPoser or something like that. Google will find it.

I've asked this too but never really got a time saving answer. The one I remember was to go and delete each single morph individually. I don't have the time nor patience to spend 3 hours deleting several dozen individual morphs so I've just left them.

I have cr2 editor, but I'm not sure what I need to remove :(

Maybe try that thread. It didn't help me because it was way over my head and I didn't understand it, but it might help you.
Here is the thread where I asked about it.

Hmm. I know what I have to do when I do it by hand - maybe I should think about writing a Python script that does the same, but then fully automated.... Ach, so much to do, so little time...

Why not just (Poser 5-7) right click the dials you don't want, and then delete the morph, and then resave the figure? Or is there something that I've missed here (very probable)?

These were morphs that for some reason I couldn't delete in poser, don't know why but right clicking didn't have a delete option.

SVDL - Hi!
Pokeydots - SVDL here(...?) has a script called RemoveMorphs.py, that will delete any morphs set to 0; for your future reference. It's really easy to run, and takes hundreds of MB off some V3.PZ3s.
Acadia - You never got it, I thought I sent you an IM telling you to ask me if you were'nt clear?
I have an idea for using svdl's remove script that I have not tried out: a MOR pose that would set all the dials I want to keep (expressions mainly) for a certain figure (V3, V2, etc.) at a low value like 0.001. The pose should not effect any spawn morphs right? Then I could run the script and ctrl-e my dials back to true zero.
Thanks, I used Phils poser tool box and it worked ;o)

Momdot - SVDL's script comes with a set of .exc files, for certain characters. These file keep expression morphs from being deleted. I need to hack that file, by deleting the contents, to deelte the expression morphs; and hence shrink my figure as much as possible.
I think the script will work on any morph, be it spawned or not.

I have to remove some un needed dials in something I made, but I'm not sure how to do this. I don't want to hide them I want to remove them. Does anyone know how? Thanks ;o)
