Subject: Why isn't there a Vue 6 demo out yet? :-(

I'm just venting/fuming a little over the no-demo situation; yes yes there're always bugs here and there but why not throw out a demo and let the people test all the new interesting features; I was extremly interested in Vue 6 and it would have been cool to testdrive a demo (I don't care the darn bugs) but 6 months after the Siggraph show there's nothing to have fun with... :::::-(      (crying helplessly)

I wouldn't doubt it's because there is only two people working in the entire co.  They can't even get their website updated and fixed (ie: forums).  They claim it's because the programmers are working on Vue and don't have the resources to pull someone away.

The answer is simple.  They dont have a good working version of Vue 6 right now and it would look bad to put a demo for download that has bugs still in it.    It would only make matters worst and people would not buy if they get a demo that don't work good for them. :)

I see iloco; it means then that we only have to wait a few years more for a totally bug-free demo version.
As I said before many software users understand the bug problems but if they are looking for a nice landscaping app then it's not a good idea to not to have a demo; Vue could also ask the demo users to report problems so the bug-chase would be faster and also he potencial users would be activated.

Well they are so busy as they say they dont have time to fix the e-on registered vue forum so I am sure if that is the facts then they dont have time to set up a demo download.

They did have time to put a flash banner at the top ot the forum and messed it up in doing so.
Its all a mess at the moment and lots of people are waiting as you for some things to happen.

You every hear the old saying it was the last straw that broke the camels back.  Something to think about. :)

I feel really sorry for e-on; they work hard to give us some excellent software but now they are totally bogged down in an endless bug-chase so that they have no time to upload a decent demo...no hard feelings only some disappointment...

You feel the same as a lot of us who like Vue very much.  We are helpless with the version we got if using it to make a complex scene.
We were suppose to have gotten an update last week but one didnt appear in the updates.   :(
