Subject: How do I use the 6-month Content Paradise coupon?

ockham ( ) posted Wed, 14 March 2007 at 1:39 PM · edited Wed, 15 January 2025 at 8:43 AM

Okay, so I've registered at CP.   I can see the name Ockham showing in the
upper left.  So I click where it says to redeem the coupon that came with P7.

What next?  Which number do I enter, and where?   There are two numbers;
one of them begins with P7Passport, so it's presumably the entry code or
sign-up code, and the other one seems to be a $10 coupon.  Where do I
put the first number?  It doesn't work in the "Gift Certificate" blank, and there
isn't any other blank.

On the postcard - a mosiac of sydney - that comes with P7 - It says go to:

http://www.contentparadise.com/p7passport
and enter the code shown. Obviously not putting the code here :)

On the same card theres a $10 of any order code as well.

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

Well, yes, but there's no place to put the code on that page, unless
it's somehow hidden behind an image or something....?

And when I hit Add to reach the checkout cart, there's a blank
for Discount and a blank for Gift Certificate.  The code doesn't
work in either of those blanks.

Hi,

To redeem your coupon for a 6 month subscription to Passport that you received with your purchase of Poser 7, please go to

http://www.contentparadise.com/p7passport

Add the item to your cart, enter the coupon code into the 'Coupon Code' field and hit 'Submit'. The price should then zero out. Then click on 'Checkout'.

The $10 coupon that you received with your purchase of Poser 7 is good for e frontier products and Poser Science products on ContentParadise.com

Sincerely,

efgirl

You might want to look at the codes...#1 looks like an 'l' (as in Lamer). It took me so many tries to get that coupon to go in right.

THANKS, BillyGoat!  (Or 1 sh0u1d say THANKS, Bl11yG0at!)

There was an ELL in the number that I was seeing as a ONE.
After changing it to an ELL, the code worked.

Manufacturers should be required to avoid using confusible letters and
numbers when they print a serial number on paper, or else spell out
the number in some fashion.  The law already requires spellouts on other
important documents like checks and contracts.
