You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
Quote - Thanks guys! Hate dropping incorrect info But,,,, She IS welded less the neck seam. This is still doable for full body morphs. Why not weld all of her? I dunno
A guess: The FACEROOM perhaps?

>>Isn't the FaceRoom module made by the same company that make FaceGen? And if I remember what I've read about FaceGen it exports a head wich would have to be welded to a body. While that is true if you use the default geometry provided with FaceGen (which is not the same geometry as found in any of the Poser figures), it isn't true if you use the FaceGen Customizer to make a figure's head and heck compatible with FaceGen Modeler.
The FaceGen Customizer costs as much as the Modeler, and the process to convert heads is long and tedious (materials and UVs have to be considered, and care has to be taken to not "break" the morphs by reordering the vertices of the head and neck meshes.) But you CAN create heads that will not only work with the original geometry, but which will be able to be applied to the original figure as a morph target.
Not an easy process, to be sure, but it can be done. My Halle Berry image is V4's head, neck, and eyes painstakingly converted to FaceGen compatible geometry, and added to V4 as a morph target. All of V4's existing morphs also work. The only issue remaining is that FaceGen won't generate head textures that are larger than 512x512. Hoping that an update will take care of that last issue!
So ... to make a long story short, Miki's head not being welded to the neck might not necessarily be related to the face room at all, unless EF's customization of the FaceGen code requires it.
