Subject: Create Multiple doesn't function as it used to

vernonglen ( ) posted Thu, 22 March 2007 at 10:12 PM · edited Tue, 14 January 2025 at 7:08 PM

I am using Carrara 6. 5.1.0.57 on an Intel chip Mac. I am a long time Carrara user, but I am unable to create multiple sections on Spline Objects as  I used to. I select the one section at the near end and then select "create multiple"  as before, but nothing happens!  What am I missing??? The Carrara help area is not helpful here..

Please advise, I must be missing something obvious.

Thanks gang,

Vernonglen

If I understand your post, you are selecting a cross section you made at the end of the extrusion. Select the first cross section instead, not the last. You can also select and create multiples from any cross section except the last one.

Carrara6???. Guess a wishfull miss type. The Windows version is simply 5.1 so it maybe  is a Mac thing.

Too funny, I went and checked Daz to see what I missed too.

Thank you,

Choosing the first crossection does allow me to create multiples.

You all caught me, I am using Carrara 5.1.0.57  (what a lot of versions!)
Maybe I confused it with Bryce 6 which I also use a lot.

Thanks again, for the help. Virtual life is good.
