dphoadley@Pitklad

Forgive me for not having said this before, my ONLY excuse is that I've been very distracted in getting the files uploaded into Freestuff, and letting the Poser Public know that she was available for download.

Thank you Pitklad for your many and wondrous contributions to this project.  NEAena's Cr2 is the foundation to which I added momodot's collection.  I especially like NEA'a Head & Face MT hierachy, which lists the morphse in order from the top of the Head to the bottom edge of the jaw.  This is a very fine system, and one which I endavored to both emulate, augment, and preserve in PosetteV3.  I also liked the built in movement morphs (forget how they're called), that expand and contract the muscles as they are bent and moved.  Good job, mon ami', very good job indeed!  DPH

I want to thank you & momodot for collecting all those morphs! It is a real treasure! And with your V3 mapping this figure is extra-versatile!

I'm figuring out which morphs work on Nea2 at the moment so as to include them on her!

Time for me to chime in here too with many, many thanks to David for his generosity in sharing this remapped version of Posette with us!    ![](http://www.cosgan.de/images/midi/froehlich/a035.gif) I'm finding it difficult to narrow down what images to post as I'm trying out all my V3 textures!!!

I'm using one of my older Posette cr2's loaded with various morphs I've collected over 8 years and just pointed it to David's .obj.   Next I'll start experimenting with the new .cr2 David has included with the remap.

Make sure to click on the image to see the details!

And here's a close-up which has been postworked a bit but only for colour correction, noise, etc.   The smoothing on the features is all Poser 7 rendering, no need to fix anything in postwork!

WOW!  WOW!  And double WOW!  And peope claim that Posette can't be photorealistic.  If I didn't know better, I'd think that she was a live model in a lingerie ad in a fashion magazine, such a Vogue.  Or maybe a Hefner Playmate.
Kalyso, you've fulfilled my dreams, and for this I thank you.

Maybe I fetishing here, but one of the aspects of her remapping that has REALLY taken me is the dramatic presence that her HANDS now possess.  Somehow, when they're visible, the scene really seems ot come alive.  Hope that that doesn't sound wierd, but that is what has most impressed me of late.

No, you're right, her hands are very expressive.  I assume the higher detail in the mapping has made them stand out more and some of my earlier renders when she was still in testing do show the hands very prominently.   Anyway, here's a final image for this thread :)

Yes I think we know.:) Posette has always stood in front of the crowd. You just had to have faith in what you where doing with her. She has been here longer than any of the V models.  Victoria is not a bad model at all. But Posette has stood the blasts of time. She is coming back.:) Its not a now thing to do. Its the tools you choose to do it with. With this mapping at hand I think it will set new bounds with her. Thanks to all envolved. :) Yes we know.:) Remember, never let a BB gun do the job when you can have a machune gun to do the work.LOL!:) Great job on the picture by the way. A very nice Posette indeed. :)

Nice remapp....... But you have included a facemorph of mine - Tindra  and you were not allowed to do that. You didn't even ask for my permission. In the readme it states that my morphs (and my other freebies) are not to be redistributed in any way, shape or form, in whole or parts of them. I want my morph removed  from the remapped version now.
I noticed a lot of other ppl's morphs too, do you have their permission?

Sorry pangor but we're not involved in any way in this thing and we'll stay certainly out of it. The author's of the morphs are intended to take action not us. What we can do is to write to the authors whose works that have been used on the character are on Posetteforever protected by the GNU licence, according to their reply we can help them but not before.

Dear TdaC;
I wish to express my sincere apologies for any anguish that my actions may have caused you.  Whatever I may have done was inadvertent, the result of my enthusiasm to see that PosetteV3 be as versatile as possible, and well and able to stand on a par with the Unimesh figures that are now so popular.
I have posted a revised edition of the Cr2 to Victoria_Lee, and asked her to replace the existing one in the zip file with this new one.
If you have any suggestions and/or advice as to the improvement of this figure, please feel free to email me at: dph@013.net.il
I remain,
Very truly yours,

This is a copy of the updated Readme that I've sent ot Victoria_Lee, and requeste to be included in the download zip file, instesd of the prior one:

*16 April, 2007 C.E.
David P. Hoadley / dph@013.net.il

PosetteV3 is basically nothing more than the standard P4NudeWoman with a remapped texture configuration that allows her to make use of DAZ's V3 texture maps.
Along with the remapping, certain changes were to the contours of the head and body (no actual changes to the mesh itself though), in that the eyebrows, nose, and mouth have been 'Smoothed' a bit, and the abdomen and navel enhanced (this was occomplished with the permanent installion of SnowSultan's 'CuteBelly' morph).
To undo any of these changes, simply dial the corresponding morph to a negative value.

I wish to express my sincere gratitude to Pitklad for the use of his NEAena Cr2, which forms the basis of the PosetteV3 Cr2; and I also wish to thank momodot for the generous contribution of his extensive morph archive.  I also wish to extend my sincere gratitude to all those whose generous time, effort, and encouragement have helped me to bring this project ot fruition.

The file zip contains:
PosetteV3.pcf        Geometrie (use obj.Mover)
PosetteV3default.Cr2        Character
PosetteV3default.Png        thumbnail
GrandDame.jpg            Illustrative pic.

INSTALLATION:
To install PosetteV3, you need to download the FREE ObjectionMover (Mover101) utility from the Utilities section of Renderosity.com (Just type 'Objaction' in the Freestuff seach guide).

Unzip the files.

  1. Place the Posette.pcf file in the P4NudeWoman subfolder of your Runtime/Geometries folder.

  2. Next, Open Object mover, and locate the P4NudeWom.obj (RuntimeGeometriesP4NudeWomanP4NudeWom.obj) as your "seed file".  Then locate the PosetteV 3.pcf (It SHOULD be in the same folder) as "Difference file"  Next, Click on the 'Decode' radio button at teh botoom of the utility, and then Press the 'Convert' button.

  3. Yon ca put the Posette.Cr2 and Png anywhere you please, just so long as it's in the 'Character' section of your Libraries folder (Runtimelibrariescharacter).

This figure may be used for both Private and Commercial renders  (but please give some sort of honorable mention), but some to its morphs are under copywrite and still remain the property of their creators (AJ, Traveler, Bushi, and Yamotosan), and these may not be used in the creation of commercial figures.  There are no restriction on the reposting of the Pcf. file

Good fun with PosetteV3!

I will be  happy of receive your impressions, suggestions, and comments: dph@013.net.il

If any one can think of any other thing that needs adding, then please inform, because this is my VERY FIRST Readme, and I've yet to get it quite right.
Yours truly,
David P. Hoadley

Interesting but I'm passing on this one. It doesn't sound like an orginal but a combo of other people's morphs???

Hmmm, no thanks. I have both figures, I see no point in this one. If want to use V3 I'll use V3 if I want to use Posette, I'll use the orginal.

Nice work but I'm not keen on it.

I see no point in making her into another Vickie.

Do you have Daz's permission to turn her into one of their figures?

Good luck with it.

Dajadues,

Posette V3 is not a "collection of other people's morphs". Heck, she's not a morph (and she's certainly not Posette made to look like V3 either)! She's Posette with rearranged UV's so she can take V3 textures. That's it. DPH made a mistake including someone else's morph in the original release due to his enthusiasm and it has all been fixed already. Please, don't post confusing stuff like you did up there as it hurts the incredible work that DPH did on this model. Remapping UV's like that is a true labor of love. Anyway, I recently downloaded her DPH and I hope to use her soon - just have to get that Objaction mover. I would have preferred RTE but what the heck :D.

Thanks!

I'll take a more serious look at this figure, when I have some time.  Thanks to Kalypso's renders.

If 'PosetteV3' can be made to work in Wardrobe Wizard, then you've really got something.  Then she'd be able to wear all of V3's clothes as well as V3's textures.  Not to mention V4's clothes.

Posette has always been WW compatable.  As such, PosetteV3 should be too, since the ONLY difference between her and standard Posette is the UV mapping, nothing else.

Xenophonz thanks :)

Posette has WW support but the remapped Posette .obj is not recognized.   So, what I did was point the .cr2 to the old .obj of the P4NudeWoman and saved a .cr2 to use with Wardrobe Wizard.   After I've converted the clothing to my liking I save it to use with PosetteV3.

The good thing is that once you analyze the clothing you can convert to Posette even when she's morphed.   In my last image she's wearing Aiko's sweater from Bat and Yamato's low rise jeans - both free items.   V3 and Aiko have so much stuff between them that it's only a matter of finding the time to analyze everything.

Something else that has made a huge difference IMO, besides of course the much higher resolution maps and improved mapping of her, is the fact that we're all so used to seeing older Posette renders when there wasn't much of nice, transmapped hair that with just a new hair style she changes completely!

XENOPHONZ ( ) posted Sun, 22 April 2007 at 1:42 PM · edited Sun, 22 April 2007 at 1:43 PM

Thanks, Kaly.  I was wondering about the PosetteV3 .obj file in WW.  I wasn't certain if it had remained unchanged -- and was therefore directly useable in WW -- or if a workaround like what you've indicated above would be necessary.  Your solution is simple enough to not be too much trouble.

Perhaps I'll give this figure a spin.  Don't worry, I'm not going to retire the DAZ Mil figures from my runtimes.  But I'm all for variety.

I really need to buy Rikishi.  Perhaps after I've stopped spending so much cash on various software upgrades.
