Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 11 8:37 pm)
Disabling external binary morph targets and compression helps to solve this problem of corrupted files with windows. Since it's Poser and not the OS that fucks the files up, it might help for Mac too.
I noticed that this occurs more often if running many apps that need much memory and cpu power and switch between them while Poser is doing something.

Hmmmm... something not right.
Poser 7 runs really good on my macbook 2ghz with 2 gig ram and running 10.4.9...
However, i have begun work, well begun kind of 'practice' on 3 or 4 different scenes now, get so far and Poser refuses to open the document.. and even crashes and quits altogether. These are just simply figure scenes.. n ot anything intricate, or huge.
This isnt so annoying right now... but to think that this will probablly happen on actual projects with hours of work going into them would be sort of frustrating to say the least.
I havent downloaded or installed SR1. Maybe I should but is there anything else that I may be inadvertantly doing that I shouldnt be?
