Hi,
Does anyone know how I can make a wireframe material in poser 5?
I would like to animate a wireframe charecter.
thanks

animate the character in wireframe display mode. render as series of images in display mode.

I'm unable to get it to render in anyhing but full color mode. I can get wireframe in the display window only, but not in a render

Select the Figure and make sure the Display > Figure Style > is Wireframe.

When you open your Render Setings, there is a tab named Movie Settings, then a DropDown named Renderer.  Select Preview from the Renderer, and render a Move(Even if it is only one frame.

I'm using version 5 and when I goto render settings, there is no option or tab for movie settings

Hmm...How many frames are there?  You could make sure the DIsplay setting is correct, and then just export the the Preview image, for each frame.

Sory for taking so long to get back.
I looking at about 200 frames

Else I'd say you could just Play the animation, and then use a screen capture utility(LIke SnagIt) to make the movie, but I doubt there is any hardware with enough resources to really get a smooth playback?

I bet this would be doable with Python, but where it is readily available in P6/P7, you may have some convincing to do in order to get a Guru's help.
