Subject: How to do Volumetric lighteffect in P6 and can you do it without Raytracing?

Are there any basic tutorials on how to do it...just how to do one cone of light . And can it be rendered without ray tracing?

The way I used to FAKE volume lights was to use a cone primitive and apply a texture to it, a turbulance , light grey with transparency.

To do it with volumetric lights I believe you need to turn on atmosphere in the material room .
