Normally I don't touch anything religious, just in case I cause offence. I appreciate my taste isn't the same as other peoples when including religious items in images! However, I did need a cross for an image I'm working on, and got playing about with this one after deleting the graveyard from the background........I quite like the result, and it taught me a little bit more too!

I agree. Photoshop can be a real witch to use. In fact I frequently don't use it because it's easier in PSP since I am better aquainted with it. Of course I think Photoshop ultimately is better. Usually what I can currently do in photoshop I can do in PSP. Except there are no paths function. Using the lasso on a picture larger than my screen size is a real pain. Bsteph

There y'go, Alpha! Resized down to save load time. Cross taken with the usual MX1200 from a low viewpoint. Not much work to the cross itself, just a sanstone texture. Variated blue background added, lens flare thrown in, drop shadow upover on the cross itself, background texture and a single lighting effect. Voila! p.s. Thanks again for the comment - for the first time since I started playing with cars I've found something I really feel at home with. Apart from Grand Theft Auto, of course, but that goes without saying! :-D
