Subject: Problems with Vista?

I'm  going to buy a new pc.  The new ones all come loaded with Vista.  I've heard Photoshop and Painter have problems working with Vista.  Is that true?  Thanks.  -Drew

I don't plan on buying a new pc, but I'd love to know the answer to this one, too.

Photoshop CS2 and Vista didn't work together on my machine.

CS3 works great with Vista.

Hello, I've installed Vista 64 bit Business edition. If you have Creative suite CS2 there is a way to install it like I did. When the program ask you where to install, create on the desktop a folder called ADOBE and install everything in there. Guaranteed it will work. The only minor problem is that you have a folder called Adobe on your desktop, wich I consider a good idea if you want to add fliters, shapes, styles and so on.

I just purchased my new laptop and after installing CS2 I cant load it as when I try to get thru registration part it tells me I dont have admin rights to continue but I am the admin on the PC.

You probably need to run the install as an admin.

Right click on the install program, and run it as an admin, see if that fixes the issue.
