I made a beard prop for mike using mike's head and the built in beard morphs (so that it works like the eyebrows, and no need to change mike's base texture) Question is how can it be distributed? How can I isolate the .obj file for mover? Pic is just a quickie to show what it is. going to do a better transmap, this one is based off of symphony's Tesoro (the pubic hair)

If it's a prop you can just export it as an obj, right? and then encode it using mike as a seed. That should do it, I think.

Morphing prop, if I just export the morphs would be gone.

ok, the best way as far as I can tell. export the .obj to be encoded, then export the morphs targets separatly. unfortunatly this requires alot more work for those who want to use this. God, I wish the encoder would work on .pz3's.

Look at some of the .pp2's that come with Poser in a text editor...they should show you how to make a .pp2 that references an obj rather than embedding the geometry within it.

Hope this helps.

heyas; this is a cool idea! does it do all the moustache/beard morphs of michael? export the zeroed prop (the one that would be the flat face) as an obj -- prolly easiest to just stick it in the zygotepeople directory where the other michael stuff is. then just open the pp2 you already have and replace the geomcustom with a storage offset and an obj pointer. it isn't very hard. open a zygote prop if you downloaded one recently, and it will show you how it should be set up. copy the storage offset exactly. then replace the geomcustom branch with the geometry pointer. change the pointer to point to the obj you exported. oh, and doing all this is MUCH easier with a cr2 editor. ;)

Cool thanks blood song, I'll try that. And yes, all the michael facial hair morphs. If this works, then all I'll need to do is encode the .obj & zip it with the .cr2? (with readme file of course)

hey it works, look for it in free stuff.
