I think I know the one you mean and as an uploader to that site I see that this same person has quite a few of the same sort of thing... and other odd stuff. Lots of other images of stiches, and dying flowers.
Um...
I have now looked at the thumbnail here on R'osity, and I can understand that it could cause offense, I don't much like looking at it myself - being so big on my screen it's a bit... nasty, right in your face like that.
P.S. I agree about American Idol.
Lol!

Ok gang, got a decision from the team. This thumb will be allowed to stay up as is, because its seen as a minor wound.
TOS States:
Images of minor bruising, burns or bloody wounds that have already occurred are acceptable
Thanks!

Oh Puh-lease! You have GOT to be kidding me! What's next? No bare feet so the squeemish one's don't have to see the ugly corns? What about belly buttons...maybe they shouldn't be allowed either, especially those disgusting outies and definately the innies because we wouldn't want to risk being exposed to gross belly button lint. How about wrinkly elbows? When the @*&% is enough, enough!
It's all fun and games...
Until the flying monkeys attack!!!
I can see why some folks might be disturbed by such an image, however, the entire point of galleries and such are for artists to show their creativity. What is one man's trash is another man's treasure. Tryig to get something taken down simply because you found it offensive is not right. I can see if we hand a few hundred complaints, but the truth is that it doesn't seem to bother most folks. You can't impose your sense of morality on other people. If you do not like a post, simply ignore it. I see many posts which I find annoying to disturbing to downright offensive; but I know that some people enjoy those images and I have no right to dictate or influence what they see. People attempting to impose their morality on other people has historically been a bad idea. Remember a little party called the spanish inquisition, or how about the Salem Witch Trials. In more recent years the McCarthy hearings which destroyed or almost destroyed the lives of many people. Basically, unless asked for an opinion, just say nothing (unless something is flagrantly illegal that is). Others have their rights too.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I don't very often complain, but I am going to register a complaint here.
The R'osity freestuff area currently has an item up called Stitches, complete with a disgusting and genuinely repellent advertising image of a close-up, in your face, picture of someone's stitches.
I was in the middle of breakfast when I was browsing freestuff, and this came up. Needless to say I nearly threw up my breakfast.
Now I'm sure that there are many out there who wouldn't blink twice when seeing that - if that is the case, well, what can I say ? .... well, bully for you. ...... BUT .... there are many of us who are appalled by such images. How do I know this ? ... its because TV stations routinely announce a viewer advisory when they are about to show a hospital procedure, needles etc.
So, Mods, do you think you could you please cover this up with a "Content Advisory" or something similar ?? .... and please be a bit more tactful with such items in future.
PS I am cross-posting this thread to the Community forum as well.
