I would to know how i could put a clickeable link in the notes i add when uploading a picture. I saw this several times on other people gallery, but was unable to do the same.

I'm sure you just need to use the correct HTML e.g. Some text here

One thing you can do, is to use the forum editor to preview your text.
When your done, click the source button and you'll get the HTML, which you can then cut and paste into the gallery entry box.

noel, it's clever how you used the character codes to display the html code without letting it be interpreted by the user's browser. I useta just type instead of the angle brackets, then tell 'em to use the angle brackets. p.s. their html editor doesn't display in any of my browsers.

The new editor doesn't require you to anything special to type example HTML code, it automatically translates special characters to their entity equivalents

It's only when you need to have insert "active" HTML that you have to use the Source button to stop that from happening, e.g. to add

 and 

heck, I just type them in as I always have done..;)

Just no blinking text or marquee, they get ticked about that...

If you use HTML in your gallery upload comments, make sure you aren't using it to give credit to merchants and/or freebie creators, even if said products are available here.  Apparently that's against the rules. If you want to give credit for things, you have to use the built in credit feature when you are uploading.  So far as giving credit to freebie creators and merchants on other sites,  and such, you can only list a name and mention the name of the site it's found, but you can't link to it.

I find the built in credit system to be cumbersome and tedious. I don't bother with credits anymore since that system was incorporated.
