Ok Here go`s I inport object 1 Then object 2 I then parent object 2 to object 1... Then In open Figure.. Rescale the first and secound object to size to fit in the right hand of figure. Then i parent object 1 to the hand.. every thing is moveing fine in the world. next i want to save the object one as a prop I hit the add to props + and select the subset wich is object 2. ok now i hit ok and it dose not ask if i want to save as a smart prop? what gives.. When i open what i just save they both open but not as smart prop or no where near how i saved this item. I have spent most of my week trying to get this to work and Im give up on this so help is needed

Hummmm I just tried this and yes it don't. One would think it should. A solution would be that once you have scaled and positioned your props you export them as an OBJ. Next delete the props and bring the saved OBJ back in. Parent this and save to the Prop Library.

I had the same problem once, and the solution then was not to select subset. If you don't do that it will ask you if you want it to save as a smart prop and after that it will be ok applying it to the hand. Hope this helps, Caro

Hmm... Wile waiting for some replys I tryd difrent aproce to this problem heres as folows Restarted and Reinported both objects(1,2) Parented 2 to 1.. saved this And adding the sub set to this buy clicking both 1,and 2 It saves and still not asking for smart prop optons. But i reopend what i have saved and poof the both apear as i saved them and 2 was parented to 1 woow I said I think i got it ok So I delet Every thing ex what i saved. Open new figure (MAN p4) added the new props i have saved then parented the 1 to the hand and left 2 alone ok it seems to be running smoth now i wanted to save it like this as a smart prop whre 1 is parent to the hand and 2 is still to 1... ok I save it ask want to save as smart prop "I GRIN WITH EXITMENT" hell yea i want to save So after jumpoing up and down for a min. ok ok Lets try the new saved prop I open it NOOOOOOO only 1 came and 2 was not found :( saden by this i tryd anothere way with the sub sets and it still did not want to save as smart prop. Well PHIc im going to Atemt to try that.. Also thanx gos out to (chromecafe)For all his help!!

Ok I think I finally got it "POP PAIN PILL" ok This is what i needed to do after i started all new i inported 1,2 parent 2 to one saved it as prop and it ask for smart prop option and i say yea,, delet the origanel 1,2 opend figure open the prop ok after more playing this is what it finally got it to work after parenting 1 to the hand I selected 2 and and then hit save as prop then i went to subset and selected both 1,2 and hit ok... it did not ask for smart prop option but i still try it and open the newly save prop Whats this its working and in cam as i saved it ok ok So i delet all and retry it Its work its all parent and nothing went wrong .. So it all about the first parented object.. Thanx for all the help im going o make this one a help file on my site when im all done thanx agian

pssssssst.. open up the pp2 in cr2editor and ensure all the parts are pointing to where they are supposed to be... and when you select subset? Universe has to be selected as well. pick one as the "Anchor" parent them all directly or indirectly to that ine.. select that as "the prop" save that to the library.... hrmmm.. I can do it faster and easier than tell you how to do it.. 8 but that's how I did up the Prowler and Diablo. as long as you don't resave them to the libraries they work every time Cheers

Well When im parenting like you said There is no option in the sub set to add the Universe it is layed out with the - sigh as well as every thing else ex the to object files im useing.. There is only 3 boxes to place an x in ground and the object one and two So Thats not going to work ass for the pp2 files If i got to reright all them ovever to make this wok why do i need poser for then.. and it has the teo files im trying to parent but this is not working
