Quote - I don't know who the seller is but what he's selling is a link to DAZ Studio. I wonder if DAZ knows about this.
There's a thread about something similar at DAZ in "The Commons" -> http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=58998
Sleazy at best, scam at worst.
I can't see Daz having issues with that. He's not selling a program, he's selling information and offering to be a mentor. No law against that:
Quote - I'll going to tell you what software you need and where to get it
I'll tell you where to get all the models for the software( men, women, children, cloth ,hair, preset poses, props and etc)
You gonna have my email support whenever you have questions, i'll also give you links for tutorials.
And in case it will turn out to be that it is not what you expected, i'll refund the money you paid me. How does that sound?:) But i'm sure you will thank me hundred times.

*"You gonna have my email support whenever you have questions"
*If he really means that, then one time fee of 5 bucks is way too low! It opens him up to answering lot of emails... It's like selling online tutoring - could get time consuming.
Hi, my namez: "NO, Bad Kitteh, NO!" Whaz
yurs?
BadKittehCo
Store BadKittehCo Freebies
and product support
This seems to be a three-point scam:
Now, selling 'how-to' information for software is not illegal. Rather, it is all over the place. Ever see the guy in the commercial who'll show you how to use Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, blah, blah. He doesn't work for M$ as far as I know.
But there are several problems here. He mainly just points you to the resources and will 'supposedly' give email support. By looking at the ratings - this is a 'guide' with download links and probably the 'how-to' info. Also note that 3 ratings were mutually withdrawn (hmmm) and 4 are negative. Many of the positives seem to be 'wink wink' buddy-buddy comradery.
Finally, looking at his store, anything stand out? This is something of a neo-pyramid scheme. Sell junk. Sell enough junk to unwitting ebayers and make huge profits. Notice that every item has a 'sensual' woman in the thumb. Sex sells - especially junk...

Let me quote from http://scams.wikispaces.com/Wired+Payment:
*Name: Wired payment scam
Aka: Paypal Refusal
Victims: Web shoppers
Crew: One person and a computer
The Scam: The con artist sells an item extremely cheaply on Ebay. These are usually electronic items such as DVD players, digital cameras etc. When the victim wins the auction or purchases the item, the con artist says he does not accept paypal payments. Paypal is the payment section of Ebay and allows reasonably safe internet payments that can be traced if required.
The con artist claims that he has had problems with paypal and that the victim will have to wire him the money via Western Union or a similar money transfer system. Since the payment can not be traced, the con artist keeps the cash and never has to deliver the product.
Variations: The same scam was original used in newspaper classifieds. The con artist would place advertisments in out of town newspapers and wait for people to call.
The Take: $200-$2000
Keywords: Advance fee fraud, short con, internet
