Subject: Poser Pro templates?

skee ( ) posted Thu, 31 May 2007 at 10:30 AM · edited Sun, 04 August 2024 at 2:41 AM

I am looking for the templates for the Barney Poser pro figure, I have for the textures, but for the
life of me, I can't find the templates. If someone knows where to find them, either online or in the program, it would be great. Maybe they are not to be found.
I would like to remap this charactor.

There are no texture templates for most of the stock Poser figures by default.  If you have UV Mapper, you can load the figure geometry (Runtime:Geometries:ProPack:Barney.obj) and save a template from there.

If not, I can get you one.

When you say 'remap', do you mean just to change the colors using the template or actually change the UV mapping?  A template won't help for the latter.

Thanks for the reply. What I would like to do is change the clothing look. I would like to
make him look like he has on shorts and remove the buttons from his shirt. I would also
like to be able to change the skin tones.
I can get uv mapper and learn how to use it, in the mean time that templace would be nice,
thanks.

You can download it here:

http://www.kuroyumes-developmentzone.com/private/Barney_template.bmp

This is a 1024x1024 BMP template in RGB (about 3MB).  I've used UV Mapper to color code the material zones.  Load this into PhotoShop or PSP and use as a background layer for your texture changes.   You can load the default texture from "Runtime:textures:ProPack:BarneyM.jpg" if a reference is needed.

Thanks Robert.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. You are very generous to do this.
