Subject: Need Downloads Reset

SpicedAmethyst ( ) posted Sun, 15 July 2007 at 6:37 PM · edited Tue, 26 November 2024 at 8:45 AM

I've been having trouble with downloading the files that I purchased.  They wont open in Win Zip.. it says they are not valid archives...  So I tried redownloading them but now I have exceeded my limited number of downloads.... Oder number is 111240940.  Any Help would be appretiated.

Hi,

I've reset your downloads.  Please be sure to disable any download managers before attempting to download as they don't work with our system.

Please let us know if you continue to have problems.

I am still having problems with these files...  When I go to unzip them, I get serious errors and the files can not be opened.  I would really love to be able to use these..

I have made sure that there was no other downloadre or the like and it still did not work.
Each of the files within the archive act differently when un zipping.. some work alright and some do not. Either way, I can not utilize the PSD files...a nd those are the reason i made the purchase..

Debbie M. ( ) posted Sun, 15 July 2007 at 8:39 PM

What version of winzip are you using?

SpicedAmethyst ( ) posted Sun, 15 July 2007 at 9:02 PM

I was using the newest version but when it wasn't working I tried WinAce also... neither makes a difference...

Debbie M. ( ) posted Sun, 15 July 2007 at 9:22 PM

I just download the files and extracted them using winzip 9.0 SR1 with no problem at all, so I'm not sure why you're having trouble.

I've asked another Admin for assistance since I'm not sure how else to help you with this.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Hi Spiced, I checked all the ZIP files for your order by downloading and unziping them.
I didnt run into any problems.

It sounds to me like they are getting corrupted during the download process.

Make sure that you dont have any doanload managers or accelerators running.

You might also try rebooting your system and network equipment.
If you continue to have problems please let us know.

I have no download managers or accelerators...
I am still having problems with the two HH5 files...
All I need are the PSD files but that seems to be where the problem is.

Ive tried rebooting everything... still isnt working for me..

Hi Spiced. Darn.

Ok - What OS are you running and what browser/version are you using?

Also what type of connection do you have to the internet?

Windows XP
Firefox, recent update...2.0 I think...
Cable connection through local network

Hi Spiced, I'm confident its something on your end since we are servicing other customer downloads without any issues.

The only other thing I can think to suggest is to try using Inrenet Explorer and see if that works.

I tried that also.. and I'm sure you are right.. I just can't figure out what it is... I've even tried downloading from another computer on a completely different network.  IE doesn't seem to make a difference and I've tried turning of the Windows firewall also... and anything else I could think of that might be causing the file corruption....  I'm out of ideas lol.

ClintH ( ) posted Wed, 18 July 2007 at 6:56 PM

I'm out of ideas as well.
I'll get you the files.

Give me a few minutes and I'll send you a site mail with some information.
