Alrighty then.  I know some of you have been wanting one of these for a while, at least a better one than normal.  Well, I may not be an expert, but I think I have one that looks rather good for my skill level.  (Intermediate.)

This is just a preview picture.  Its not even entirely done yet.  But, I have most of the hard part done.  So yay!  No critcism please, unless its to offer suggestions.  I have no materials for the Arwing, other than basic starship skins.  But I could use one for it though, if anyone would assist in that.    Other than that matter, here is the preview.

Maybe this will show up...

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

Lets try it now shall we?

My arwing, somewhat finished.  Not completly though, for I have to redew the body to make it more in-game accurate.

The new one looks better.  And what does IMVHO mean?

it's an organisation to which I belong - the International Mongers of Very Humble Opinions. I'm required to use it in at least 25% of my messages here, and if I forget, the organisation sends a troll from one of the porno sites to try to start a lynch mob.

Oh, I see. lol  So.  Just with your very humble oppinion, do you think people would download an Arwing if I made a really good one?

OH HOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!

this is looking so freaking good.

thanks a lot !!!!

but let me make some humble sugestions.

please?

alright, first, I don't know if it's the angle of the picture that gives me that impresion, but I think the main body of the ship is a little to..... how could I say ?
Fat ?
maybe it's just an impresion, but I would rather see a more thin body.

On the other hand, the wings a defentively to small.
larger and longuer wings would be apreciate !

everything I say it's just a sugestion.
there's no intention to blame, or whatever.
you are doing a tremendous job !!!!
and I know that this is just a work in progres, so a lot of improvements are going to be made.
I'm confident about that.

keep doing your great job !

I can't wait to start working wtih jour creation. :D

This body has since been replaced by one that is more in game accurate.  And yes, I agree.  The body is too fat.  And the wings are just a little too stubby, and short for my taste in that one.  It has since been fixed.  And, hopefully, once the upload is approved, if it is, you can use it.  The cockpit that is shown in that one is from a Viper Mark II from BSG.  And, if I am reading the user agreement right, it is not to be re-distributed.  So I had to make a new one.

Ergo, you are getting a completly new ship when you get this one.  Though, it leaves room to be worked on for more personal customizations, like for the engine.

would it be possible for you to send the arwig in a 3ds file ?

Angel_Natavi ( ) posted Wed, 18 July 2007 at 10:01 AM

Yeah, but it would take a day or two to get it uploaded and aprooved.  Shouldn't be a problem.  Why?  Having problems getting it to show?

Alright, since I can't seem to edit my post here, I'll just give a new one.

If you are having problems getting it to load, or even show, I have a thread that would help.  I had problems with object presets a while back.

You may have to copy and paste that into your URL to get there.  Its in the Bryce forum though.  If you follow the instructions given, you should be able to use it quite easilly.
