Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 25 12:38 pm)
This happens when Poser loads the wrong geometry file for a figure. You might have two different OBJ base files with the same name, probably socks.obj. Poser will load the first one it finds and if it's the wrong one, you'll get this invisible figure problem a lot. This is why file naming and placement is such an important thing for merchants and freebie makers to pay attention to.
To fix it, you first have to find the correct OBJ file. Then Edit the CR2 to make sure it's pointing to the correct directory. Poser checks that directory first and then starts searching for the file elsewhere if it's not found where it's supposed to be. It will then grab the first correct filename it finds even if it's not the right file.
Thanks for the help but neither of those was the issue. I'm not missing any files and the obj has a unique name and it's in the right place and the cr2 is pointing towards that.

So I'm trying to use harlequin goth, the A3 version. Everything works great except for the socks. I load the socks, it says they are there but I can't see them. In the material room it says it's there but even after I render the screen is totally empty. Any ideas?
