Its the same size texture for different meshes? I dont have the Dragons Lair, so Im not familiar with it, but maybe try to place a sharpening filter to it and see if that helps...any time a texture has to be stretched its going to lose pixel quality

Hmmm I just went and got Dragons Lair..and I see the texture..seems like it would be big enough to stretch over both the pots..1024 x 1024....
Seems like I have read somewhere tho that it was optimized for Poser 4 too...might want to ask StoneMason how to go about making it look better in D|S if he knows ;)

My apologies if this has been asked before, but I did search and couldn't find anything.. I just got the Millenium Dragon and so I also downloaded the freebie "Dragon's Lair" from DAZ However, when I did a test render, the "dragon's gold" looks terrible. I checked the Surfaces tab and it has the same .jpg file for the gold in the smaller pots, as well as the large pile of gold. The result is that the texture looks all distorted and although a bump map is defined in the surfaces tab, it looks dead and flat to me. Is there a way to tile the texture and to tell it how to scale it so it looks better? I know how to do that in Bryce, but not in DAZ|Studio. Thanks in advance for your replies.
