While browsing another forum i spotted a post about a "Free Program" interested i looked at it and read all i could about this 3d program on there. After reading that i went to the site and looked at the program on there.

Then i had a massive brain wave hit me...oooh my friends at R'sity might find this interesting, specially those that do modeling or texturing...

use the link i posted to get yourself to a free program you may find useful...if not interesting.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

Hey thanks mate!  Looks like a great tool.  Nice website too.  I noticed several video tuts.  The forum seems friendly.
Going to try it out over the weekend.  :)
Have you tried it out yet?

matrix to be honest with you i haven't. I haven't been using much these days, just don't have the interest much as one of the main people that kept my interest going is no longer with us it seems so is my imagination for 3d work..

i'll give this a look at though as i believe it could be handy to have.

I hear you CD.  And without going into details in this thread...I understand.  :)
It's a good sign though.  Your looking around the net.  Sharing interesting links etc.
Give it some time.  Don't push it.  Just let it happen.
Sorry, I really suck at communicating my thoughts, lol.  Hope this makes some sense.  :D

CD, thanks for the link. Sounds like an interesting progie. I downloaded the newest version and installed it. When I tried to launch it, it crashed and burned. Got an error message and it automatically tried to log onto the Internet to email error.

Now this could have happened for any number of reasons first and foremost being that I’m operating from a 5 year old system on Windows ME and my graphics card is an ATI All-IN-WONDER which actually does make me wonder but as I understand it, it can pass as a Radeon 9000 or 9001-1/2 or there abouts…LOL.

In any case I would like to hear from those who have gotten it to work on their systems and I’m anxious to hear what they think of this program.

CD, keep on keeping on.

hmm i haven't installed it yet. You could need to look at the graphic card, they recommend using a Radeon 9600/Nvidia 5600 128Mb (256 recommended) or better. Luckly i have the X800 GTO 256mb/256bit card.
I'll install it and see how it goes for me, if it does the same then i'll post on here and recommend others don't use it ;)

CD, again, thanks! Let’s not through the baby out with the bath water, if you know what I mean. Just because it doesn’t work on my old system and OS platform doesn’t mean it wont work on everyone else’s. Chances are in fact from what I’m reading in the forums over there is that despite some early troubles, it does work but not on my system. No need to condemn the whole progie because it doesn’t work on one system. I’m just curious to know who got it working and what they think of what seems to be a great program. So CD, give it a try and get back to us. Would much appreciate.

Quest and others i installed it after my last post. It started without any troubles, thing i found though was it kep freezing up on me after about 10 minutes of use.

Now i can't say its the computer system i'm on cause i have more than enough ram to use for this program

Their System requirements:
CPU: 1000Mhz or better
RAM: 512Mb (1024 recommended)
Video: Radeon 9600/Nvidia 5600 128Mb (256 recommended) or better
DirectX 9.0c or better

My System:
CPU: AMD Athlon 3000+XP
RAM: 2Gig
Video card: Radeon X800GTO 256Mb Ram/256bit
DirectX 9.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

I got the beta...   I opened a head they had as an example...  The burshes seem to work as they mark the head with their functions.. but,, I can not get the head to turn in any direction...  My POV is from the top slightly on an angle..  I can see the top, forehead and nose of this head...  Can not change my POV....
Perhaps it is my lack of understanding.. but hey ..  all programs have typically the same conceptional wheels and throttles... Basically!     I've work a little with Zbrush, Mud, C4D and Max...   how different can you one get?..  could be the beta.. or me..
