Ive had 3 users tell me that 2 of my characters are african american. The rest seem to see them as I see them. Dunno I was thinking maybe a difference of screen brightness and contrast?

Here is a picture of The Nomad aka Bard class shes the one on the left
Rogue classes Nomad and Scavenger.

and also for my clone race i use The Freak
clone

Like I said to me they look peach i mean the nomad looks a little tan. I unno.

I don't see peach. The woman on the left is tan, perhaps Hispanic? The one on the right is white, with a hint of gray in the flesh tone, but her facial features might work for a black woman. Put an afro on the freak and he might pass for a light-skinned African American.

They look ok to me.

Older CRT monitors tend to display darker even when calibrated.

I'd suggest that the people who have problems try calibrating their monitor.  If they have Photoshop, they can use "Adobe Gamma" which is found in their Control Panel. Here are some instructions on how to use it to calibrate the monitor:

If they don't have Adobe Gamma, they can calibrate online however, if they delete their cookies at some point, they will have to go and recalibrate.

Personal experience. My favorite once very bright Samsung 700 model CRT after six plus years seemed to still look Ok for the most part. Then a neighbor discarded their 2.5 year old MAG CRT for a LCD. I rescued the CRT from the garbage and found it brighter than my currently 6+ year old CRT by a HUGH magnitude. At least 2X or 3X brighter. Moral to the story is you get used to the progressive aging and normal decline of a monitor and even the best of them decline significantly in brightness after only 5 years.

On my now less aged monitor...
Your images look good to me. Nomad looks nicely tanned and the other girl looks like a soft light creamy skin tone. The Freak looks just a touch less than tanned.

My brain is just a toy box filled with weird things

the girl on the left is darker than the one on the right, but definately not anything more than just tanned.
the Freak looks as tanned as the girl.

I can vouch for that.
My old CRT at work is very dark compared to my LCD at home.

I just bought a Samsung SyncMaster XL20 - it covers the Adobe RGB colour space. It's great for my day-to-day work (which is colour-critical), but everything rendered in Poser looks awful.

Does anyone know what Poser's RGB working space is?
