... If you have "Mood Master"- you know what a cool concept it is and how it can make regular renders look more DRAMATIC and, heh,,, MOODY!... But, I decided to play around with one of my previous renders just to see what else could be done with it using Photoshop on the MM Fog Layer...

These EFFECTS can be done also using any other program with Photoshop-like layer effects and which can load Photoshop filters...

...Here's my starting image- Bollodon in Stonemason's warehouse- the MM Fog Layer has ALREADY been added- but, I thought... WHAT ELSE could I do with IT...?

...Here's what I came up with- after running some Photoshop "Burn" tools and filter EFX on the Mood Master Fog Layer...

...Here's what I STARTED with ---the MM Fog Layer--

...and after I worked on it in Photoshop using the BURN Tool... I also found that the Photoshop Lighting filter ALSO works really well as it respects the DEPTH EFFECT- not just doing a 2-D effect- but a 3-D Lighting effect...

...and here's a NOISE FILTER applied to the MM FOG Layer...- this creates lots of nice HEAVY DUST particles in the air- and again you can see how it "respects" the 3-D DEPTH LAYER effect- and is not just a 2-D effect...

I also added this to my image using variations of SCREEN, PINLIGHT and LUMINOSITY- don't be afraid to try different light filtering techniques- all of them can be pretty interesting...

...also ANOTHER fun Photoshop Filter that does very COOL lighting EFX is LUCE-- you can get it here...

Here's ANOTHER example of what LUCE can do... .

...and what I wound up with after applying it...

...The BEST PART of creating these HEAVY VOLUMETRIC type effects is knowing that they only take SECONDS to apply in Photoshop- even to a 2K size render---while if you tried doing a Volumetric Render in, say-- Vue6 Infinite--- with a Volumetric Atmosphere, Volumetric Lights, etc.. you would be looking a SEVERAL HOURS at LEAST (on average) if you wanted to do a 2K size render... (or probably more like 5-6 hours)...
