I hope it's okay to stick this here, as I'd rather add to a relevant thread than create a new one.
I just checked my PMs today and when I read a message, it appears to be in a white text box instead of on the same kind of background as... well... everything else. I don't remember it being this way before?
The thing that really throws me off is that in both Firefox and IE (6), the message is squished into this small text box, instead of using more of the available horizontal space.
Please don't laugh if it's been this way for a while, I haven't been using the sitemail lately.
And finally, I always did notice that in Firefox, the messages seemed more 'boxed in' than IE (though it wasn't inside a text box), and that in IE, the words flowed across the page. But now the messages appear in small, white boxes in both browsers.
I don't know, is this something I can change in an option? It's a bit odd.
edited for clarification -- not that it's completely clear lol

I'm thinking that the site mail and 'new mail' notifications could be a little bigger or more obvious.
Tucked away in the top corner like it is now means I often don't notice it for days or even weeks.
The old 'new IM" notice that appeared nice and central above the picture/page/whatever that you were looking at at the time, was much more noticeable.
