Subject: having problems with apo 2.6c - what is access violation on the exe file?

I need some help please.  Monday night, 08-27-07, when I opened my apo 2.06c everything seemed fine until I clicked on the editor window.  When I did that, I got an access violation error.  This program worked fine last night.

The error message is:  access violation at address 004C0156 in module 'apophysis206c.exe'.  Read of address 0000000D.

Any ideas?  My other versions of apo work.  I have windows XP.

Thanks for the help.

Have you loaded any plugin variations lately? Some of the ones released to cover the Z+ variations are buggy.

My suggestion is to cut/paste all of the .dll files from your Apo Plugin folder to somewhere else, then open Apo and see if the problem is still there... if not, start adding the .dll files back into the Plugin folder one by one until you get the error again - that will isolate which one is causing the error you are seeing...

The suggestion worked.  But I think I have found a bug.  When I try to exceed 30 plugins, the error appears again.  So I think that there is a limit on the number of plugins at this time.  At any rate, thank you so much for the help.  I put back the plugins that I wanted and for now will have to do without the others.
