Subject: Lyne's Creations/Vista Internet Products Store is CLOSING

Mods: if you don't allow this sort of notice here, then I will understand if you remove it. I was not sure, and am only trying to get the word out.

Lyne's Creations Poser/Vue Products, as well as all other merchant's products at Vista Internet Products will no longer be available as of December 30th, 2007.  Our incredible run of 7 1/2 years has been very rewarding!

Our store is closing it's doors due to Lyne's (my) health issues as well the increased work load from the "day job" of our store manager.

So, if you have been thinking of getting My photo real Wildcats, Deer Family, goats, chickens, Wild and Domestic Rabbits, Wild & Domestic Pigs, Ultimate Ducks, Egrets and Waterfowl, and sooo many other critters, be sure to do so soon!  Remember the holidays come faster each year!

Our other merchants products may be available in other places, but that is for them to announce when they have made those decisions/arrangements.

The "if and when" of Lyne's Creations products being available again, is not known. The work involved may be more than I can do. At the very least it will be a year or more before I could do something with them.  I am very proud of my work, and I WILL NEVER SELL THE RIGHTS TO MY PRODUCTS, NOR THE RIGHTS WE ACQUIRED TO THE "VIP" MODELS I HAVE BASED MANY OF MY PRODUCTS ON.  Many of the VIP models have already been combined into my Morph/Map packages, and the rest would be combined if and when I am able to re-package them.

Be sure to make your purchases in time before we close!

I would appreciate it if you could help me spread the word to your friends in case they do not catch this announcement!  Thank You!

Oh no... Sad news.

Your products are so wonderful. Well, thanks for the advance warning, I'll have to budget my funds for a final shopping spree.

It is sad. I was there just last week looking at all the beautiful things that are out of my reach. I don't have a 'real' credit card, which makes me unable to buy anything there.

I had an 'evil' plan of giving my brother the cash and telling him I want his help as my Christmas Present. He'd never buy me something as 'silly' as 3D model, but I may be able to persuade him to help if it costs him nothing.
Thank you for the advance warning and for keeping the store open past Christmas, I may yet be able to execute the plan. It'll be hard to choose just two though...

This is sad news. You have the most amazing array of animals, and including the desert critters is very special. The budget here, will also have to be stretched for the mountain lion, coyote, jackrabbit, buffalo, squirrels... ooo.. I just want them all!

Acadia ( ) posted Sun, 02 September 2007 at 7:41 AM

What a shame to see a store close :(

Have you given thought to putting your products in the MP here or elsewhere? Sure you will have to split the profits, but you don't have to sell the rights to do that.  At least this way you still have some revenue coming in, and you won't have to worry about all of the rest.

Lyne,

I will miss you.  I will miss knowing your store is there. But more importantly, I will miss knowing that someone, who has done more for Poser animals, than perhaps anyone else, isn't going to be there in the same way.

You and your wonderful creations have been around as long as I can remember. You are perhaps the single reason I never ever bothered to do any animals myself. lol I always said, "well Lyne does those!" And you do them extraordinarily. When I think animals, yours is the name I always think of or refer first.

I don't know why your store is closing, but what I care about more, is that you are okay and nothing happens to you. I have the deepest respect and admiration for you professionally and personally, though I have made the mistake of not taking the time to say so before.

But regardless, I do hope we see your creations again after December. But more importantly, I hope you stay in touch and don't hesitate to ask if you need anything. I'll be putting a mention about your store in Apollo's newsletter to help spread the word.

Deepest regards and fondest wishes,
Anton

Thank you, all, and Anton... my health issues are "permanent"... not life threatening, as long as I take good care of my self and each aspect of my health- an exhausting daily effort.

I do have some ideas to keep my products out there...or rather eventually bring them back in some form, but it will take a long while to do this, because we have always sold our products by shipping CDs - which means we never had to think of the file size... many are 100's of MB and texturs in tif formats, etc...

At any rate... just a fyi... link attached if any care to read what I deal with, health wise, - and this new determination to rise above it all, and do good by expressing same in my art...

I'm so sorry to hear you're having trouble. I read your page and sounds like you're putting in huge efforts to not let it beat you.
I hope you find time and energy to do things you love, regardless of whether that includes us and your wonderful store in here. And hoping that you come by and say hi to us in here :)

How about enlisting the help of your previous customers with converting your products for you? I'm sure many if not most would jump to the front of the line to help you out by converting the products  of yours that they have.  They could upload the finished compacted files to their website with a private link and you could download it. Then they could delete the file from their site. While some may not get converted/compacted, many would.

It would save you lots of work. Plus it would give people a chance to help someone that they care about, and that's what this whole community is about.

Hey Lyne,

I have known others with your condition so I appreciate the need for rest. I did not think the worst, but either way I still fell the same. I just wanted to be sure I told you so.

hey lyne,
I truly love all your creations, I just could not afford all the things I wanted to get all at one time, but I have purchased a few things from your site when I could.
I am very sorry to hear that you are having health problems and planning to close your "store" but I really think, that you don't need to create anything "NEW" to you wonderful collection.......but just continue to sell your stuff that you have already created and If I could help you in any way, I would be more then happy to do it.
My time is limited as I work nights and have other issues........but if there is anything I can do to help you, Please let me know!
Your talents should not go "away".........the creatures you have created are "CLASSIC" and unforgetable........they are the BEST in POSER today and need to continue to Live.

Best wishes to you, and Pls. if you need anything........I will do what-ever I can to "Keep you Going" (:

Some notes to you Lynn.

If you haven't read about me my website tells my story:

http://www.ramwolffsworld.com/RAMWolffsWorld/

I wanted to ask if you have tried Agave Nectar as a sugar replacement??  It's safe for folks with diabetes to use. It's the only 'sugar' I keep in the house these days.  I also would recommend you try Xylitol.  It's sweet and pretty benign but it's hard to know how that's going to affect you until you try it.  Both can be found at Whole Foods or health food stores or ordered on line.

I am sugar baby and to hear that someone can't use a substance to get that one, important, flavor sensation is sad to hear.  I think keeping the body balanced is so important and I think finding a way to experience those tastes are important on not only a psychological level but also on a physiological level as well!!  I'm not an advocate of artificial sweetners but if that's all you can do then at least your getting some enjoyment.

Have you checked out Garden of Life products??  The maker of that product line almost subcomed to Chrones disease and IBS.  He has a couple of books out and a line of products.  With my HIV and IBS combo I live with I have found that 5 of the Perfect Food (tablets) with an EFA gel cap a day (3 PF and 1 EFA in the AM and 2 PF and 1 EFA in the PM) really helps to keep me more balanced.  He also recommends Primal Defense which has the magical "mud" mixture that helped him overcome his dis-ease.

In any case you have my utmost respect for your journey as I know some of what you deal with.  I wish you wellness, happiness and hopefully some fabulous thing comes along that will bring you ultimate relief so you can enjoy life more fully!!

HUGS

Richard ;-)~

Lyne

That's really sad news.  Please believe you have my very best wishes for your health and happiness.

I've bought some of your stuff and found it to be first rate and with first class service.  Closing the site will leave a huge hole in Poser land.  A lot of the models on VIP are unique.   I assume you have looked into getting someone to administer the site on your behalf.  If not, you really should consider it.

Here's hoping you keep in touch with all us Poser types from time to time; you know you'll always be welcome.

Very best wishes for now and the future

Thanks all for all your kind words and suggestions... believe me I have considered all sorts of ways to go, be it sugar substitutes or poser stuff! :)  And as is often said "...it's complicated".... but as you can tell too, from my personal page, I am not the type to give up...get really frustrated and sometimes really sick....but keep getting back up on the proverbial horse...soooo we shall see....

FYI...just for a laugh or maybe a sympathetic giggle you might want to take a look at what came from my muse:

Lyne, Your animals are great and made with love. I bought a bunch of things awhile back, and one of the nice perks are all the great poses included. This type of product is so hard to come back. I really love all the variety of creatures. Great stuff. I hope you get better. I have found researching medical issues on the internet has made a big difference for several people I know. My mother might have had a problem similar to yours. I did a lot of research and now after 2 years she is about 90% better, and only has troubles now when she has an allergic reaction to something she ate. I hope you able to further investigate, and maybe find a treatment that will make a difference for you. bB

Good luck Lyne with your health problems,   I hope you end up on top of this.

I have bought products from your store before, so I decided to go ahead and get some of the other ones I had wanted before your store closes, which is a real loss to us in the Poser Universe.  I really look forward to receiving my CD and I know from the past purchases will be fairly prompt considering I live in Australia.

Best wishes, Jan

Lyne, please put them up for sale here. Most merchants with huge files just included a bonus link for the download. I have quite a bit of your stuff, but I'm sure I'll want more. Just don't have a job now. We have the worst unemployment rate in the States. I would help you for free putting things in runtimes or whatever. As I recall, a lot of early products were not in runtimes. There are many good free download sites like box.net that let people put files up for free and others download them. Please don't make you stuff not available!!!!! Hugz, Sherrie

Lyne, I do know what you're going through. I've had similar symptoms since childhood. The doctors always told my mother that the pains in my arms and legs were just "growing pains" when I was a child. And for years as an adult the doctors said it was most likely arthritis but never really tested me for anything. One actually gave me Lodine for it Which made it worse and hurt my stomach a lot. Now my daughter has been diagnosed with FM and given meds for it. BTW: A lot of the ringing, buzzing or clicking noise in the ears can come from Meniere's Syndrome, which is also is associated with FM. Almost all of my hearing has been destroyed by Meniere's. My prayers will be for you tonight. :)

Let me introduce you to my multiple personalities. :)
