my girlfriend to the left, in the middle lyrics from the band wolfsheim & to the right a drawing by me. photo of my girl and background taken while she was driving a car. scanned, then cutted her face out, streched(?) the background and put her back. lyrics from wolfsheim, a outstanding german independent band. song is called lovesong. drawing handmade with a 6b or 2b pencil. can be found in my gallery. i dont know if this is the right place to post this pic, but why not. ok, please comment and critic! thanx, :) lars

Lars, this is the rigt place. Did you have another post with different placement of text? The lyrics are beautiful, but lines are not placed logically. At least when I cant see whole pic at once. If this pic is ment to see as whole image at same time, then its fine, but if this is ment to be scrolled, like little story, this does not work. When we are looking at pic, we start in bottom left corner, move there to upper left, upper right, lover right and there circling towards center of a pic. And what I see now, first, is the profile of your beautiful girlfriend, then comes text "your sillyskin...". "I want to" should be placed more towards upper lef corner. Beautiful pic, beautiful lyrics and beautiful realisation. (oh, and beautiful girlie) .n

thank you antoonio, the lyrics are thought to be read from top to bottom. on my screen (1600x1200) i can see the lyrics in whole, so i didnt realized the problem for smaller resolutions. will post a smaller pic for all, ok? :) lars

Personally I liked the poetry and I don't mind my eyes roving across a peice to understand it. But then that's me. Good picture too. And you are lucky to be with her. Bsteph

Yeah, Bsteph, we've already sussed out what your idea of 'your eyes roving across a piece to understand it' entails......dirty old man! Good pic, though. Nice girl, cool words, and very nice incorporation of that sketch, both as an idea and in practice. Takes some veiwing when you've only got 14" to play with, though..... (Go on Bsteph, you say it........)

hi to all! bsteph2069, i've got a dumb little question. what means -roving across-? as you all might know my english is not good, so you might have to explain some words/phrases to me. jordyart, also a question, but on the word -sussed-. ? thank you all for your comments! i like the photography forum! the way you get feedback is outstanding! (this goes to all of you! :)) btw, i have to say that lyrics (in any kind) are one of my greatest inspirations for my pics. :) lars

Hi Slaanesh, Please give no attention to Jordyart. However he is right I should have used a different word than "Roving". Roving means to travel. So my eyes have to travel across your picture to get it's meaning. In short roving means to roam. Jordyart's joke is this: You have a picture of your girlfriend and I make a comment that I don't mind roaming across your picture. Often roving eyes is a idiom ( slang ) for a person ( usually men ) who closely examine females. You get idea I hope. AND since I have my dictionary out "sussed out" is a slang which means "to discover or to realize". Lyrics are your inspiration hunh. Mine are usually impressions or day dreams. Interesting in what drives us. Bsteph
