Just found out about this program being offered as a free download for Poser and Daz Studio and I was just wondering if any is familiar with the program or who has used it and made some "tentacles" with the program?

What is the program, exactly? I don't see any reference to it in your linked webpage.

I'm interested in seeing what this program is as well.  The link you provided is sending me to a blank page.

It was a Rendo freebie a few months ago. I think it's gone now :(

It wasn't a program, just a model.

Here is a copy of the "readme" text that came with the program

Tentacles can refer to the elongated flexible organs that are present in some animals, especially invertebrates, and sometimes to the hairs of the leaves of some insectivorous plants. Usually, they are used for feeding, feeling and grasping. ~Wikipeida

The CS Tentacle is a highly articulate figure designed to create an almost limitless variety of poses. Divided into four sections, each with its own set of Easy Pose controls, you can easily produce fantastic and complicated results with as little as four dial moves.

It makes a great root as well as nasty alien appendage. The included six textures are easily assigned as MAT poses in Poser.

DAZ Studio users get three materials provided by Katherine Briggs with instructions below on how to access more.

Enjoy and as always we would love to see what you do with our products.

System Requirements:

Poser 5 and above
DAZ Studio

Installation Instructions:

Unzip to your preferred runtime. Files should install in the appropriate locations. Please let us know if you have any questions.

I still haven't figured it out yet

What exactly is it you're trying to figure out? It seems pretty straight forward to me. Load the model into Poser, then use the dials on each body part to bend twist and rotate them as desired to get the finished look. Then add the appropriate material to it (either through MAT files in the poser library, or materials in the material room - not sure which this one uses), and render.
