This Cinema 4D made 'Air Control Tower' model is now at the Poser conversion stage and all being well should be available for download sometime this week.

The Tower is based on a real structure of an old and still operation Royal Air Force control tower.

The model features detailed textures, working doors and seperate roof props. There is no detailed interior modelling.

For further information the models' progress has been outlined in the Renderosity/Cinema 4D forum post: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2712061&page=1

Thank you for your interest.

mrsparky - you can download a free expander for .sit files at the address below.

mrsparky: The file is a .zip. In fact when someone first mentioned this I uploaded a brand new zip file using the most recent zipper.

I also downloaded the file a few times and each time it shows as a zip file.

English Bob found the solution though - change the .sit  to .zip and it works.

Becco_UK ( ) posted Thu, 11 October 2007 at 1:42 AM

mrsparky: Problem solved - I just made another zip file of the Control Tower and uploaded it to CGShare. This time it shows on their system as a .zip file. I downloaded, opened it and checked the unzipped files and everthing looks to be ok.

If renaming your .sit to .zip doesn't work then I can only suggest redownloading. If you still have problems after that I will place the zip file in my file locker here at Renderosity for you to download.
