It's a sort of MySpace thing. You know, all that there social networking bollocks. :)
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
Never heard of it. If it's like "Hi5", "My Space", "Art Zone" or anything like that, I'll pass.
Someone sent me an invite and I don't know if it is spam or if it is someone who knows me, but I don't recognize their name or email address.
"It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not
angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi
My uni societys has a "protected "facebook page. Viewing and posting requires you sign up
providing a lot of personal info, and faff around with invites. Some pages require academic email address -which is now a spam magnet.
Once in - it's a phishers and stalkers dream. real birthdays, mobile numbers or addresses. And if you pollute it with duff info other users get upset.
It's very popular though - the little kiddie winkies on my course spend more time on facebook than doing group work on the uni BBS :( That might seem grouchy but when your degree could depend on other people pulling their weight and they do slap-dash stuf at the last minute, it's not funny.
Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.
