Subject: can you make piston ?

Hi.
I want to know how can I make piston that can use in poser.
I need your help.
If you know it, please teach me.

If you really want to learn how to rig something like that, pick up the posr content developement book, "Secrets to poser figure creation" by BL render.. she actually covers exactly how to rig up a piston assembly in one chapter.

It's available at Amazon.

I downloaded the piston.zip, and extracted the test.obj, but the test.obj will not import into Poser.

Hi smalll,

It appears that your object file contained in the zip file, e.g., http://www.bokgi.net/test/piston.zip, is not in the standard Wavefront OBJect file format.  It appears to be a special "Rhino" format.  I do not have Rhino so I can not help you.

To be able to work with the OBJ file in Poser, you'll need to use whatever the Rhino command(s) are to turn it from a set of NURBS into a polygon mesh.
You'll also need to make sure that the seperate parts are properly transformed into groups when exporting.
