Hi All, Someone raised the question of if you have vicky 2 why bother using vicky one at all any more. I will pose the same question to my fellow "MIllenium Man/Michael" owners Do you ever use Dork for any renders or animations anymore?? I dont. Mocap

All the time. Michael just doesn't have the wardrobe that Dork has. Dork he may be... but a well DRESSED dork indeed.

Nope. I use WarriorDL's Bobby every now and then (to be able to dress up my Michael), but I've never touched Dork after I got Michael :)

Right the wardrobe is a big factor. But I found a morph to fix the dork's eyes so I don't have to keep him sunglasses. That helped a lot. Michael is better, but if you have a more distant type picture doesn't matter too much.

Ookami is right. Dork has more clothing choices (even though they are far fewer than for Posette). Now if they do to Michael what's been done with Victoria 2 so that Michael takes Dork's clothing---then I might not mess with P4 Dork. And let's face it, lovely figure that Michael is, there are more face shaping morphs right now for P4 Male than for Michael. I'm sure that eventually that will change, but for now, I still use Dork more often than Michael. Liz Pope Dreamspinner Inc.

I have to agree with Eowyn, I use Warriordl's Bobby as well. The extra morphs in Mike's head on dork's body with dork's wardrobe is a godsend there just isn't enough clothing for Mike, and what there is, other than the few free items is out of my price range. With luck DAZ are working on a Mike2, at which point I'll have the best of both worlds. For now though the excellent work put in by Warrior is more than sufficient. Having said all that, the huge quantity of morphs and "extra bits" that lurk around the web make the dork an interesting model to play with. Dork he might be, but he's versatile, and a long way from system hog. For crowd scenes, I use him a lot. :) It's just nice to be able to use the higher res maps on the head of Bobby, especially for close shots.

There might be an improved Dork on the way. What traveler and his folks did for Posette into Eve and Azura, I'm attempting to do for Dork. Cerulian may be out soon. Only question is there going to be any interest in him? David

always Dave... many of us that've "already spent the allowance for the nest couple of years" are always on the look out for new things and chara 8 ) for my self? I use the P3/P4 Dude near exclusively.. tween Travelers and R_Kane's morphs.. the still can blow away mikey 8 ) but that's a personal opinion.. and the resouce friendly dude makes large scenes easier to do CHeers

There's always interest in better definition models Dave. Though if you are re-ordering the joints and geometry like Traveller and Co. did for Eve then people are still going to end up with the "no wardrobe" situation, as happened with Eve. To some extent Eve's incompatibility with clothing has been addressed but... However, if there is an improved Dork, I for one would be interested, sometimes it's nice to play with new things. :)

heyas; i use the p4 male when i want to do poses with the arms up and back. michael can not do this as well as the p4nm. besides, i have syyd's wonderful high-res FREE p4nm texture to use on him! :) oh, and the guys from posergamers use the p4 figures. and so does physique. (all of which i've used recently.)

I still do... that is use p4. When I try to do a nude pose with micheal ... well I just give up. By the way is there a morph to fix those testicles ... you could put a tread texture on them and pass them off as Firestones or Goodyears. niles

Well Cerulian is finally available to the masses. But I've been getting so much grief over how I set up the downloads that I'm wondering if it was worth the effort at all.
