Very Nice! Great work on a very desirable item, imo. Was about to suggest "a little too bulbous on the legs" but then I checked the link above for reference. So much for MY memory. That scene was a real standout, the tank ultra-cool and you have captured it faithfully. All of that said, what do you think? Should the legs be more mechanical and less organic? This is gonna texture-up real good!
shirows designs are based on organic structures.... some of his mechs are just ripoffs of the nature :) the organic look is ok,as long mechanical parts fit in the armor parts...i try to make the legs in a realistic size,u know. there have to fit in hydraulics, edms, gyroscopic movement sensors, schock absorbers etc... and as motha nature teached us,round shapes absorbing much more kinetic energy than blocky stuff :)
This looks very good, I agree that the legs should be a little more 'mechanical' for want of a better picture, but with a mechanical texture on them in any event would do fine. I was always a little disappointed with the actual story of Ghost, but the design and artwork were terrific. This is gonna rock when it's finished.

EXTREMELY cool! What modeler are you using, out of curiousity? And where can I (legally) find a DVD? :-) Anthony Hernandez Curious LabsAttached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Yes&Artist=swfreeman
