Subject: Programs that copy morphs and/or inj poses from figures over to clothing...?

DarkEdge ( ) posted Fri, 09 November 2007 at 7:18 AM · edited Sun, 24 November 2024 at 12:46 PM

Hi all.

Just wanted to get a consensus on what programs you use to copy morphs and/or inj pose's over to clothing and how sucessfull they re for you in doing that.

Thanks! 😄

Nothing actually does, because the meshes are unique between figures and clothing.

Some utilites can accomodate body morphs by manipulating the clothing mesh, like wardrobe wizard does, and its extremely popular with end users.

There are issues though with "hard" parts of clothing, like buttons, metal parts, snaps, that sort of thing.

Wardrobe Wizard 1 will convert clothing to a morphed figure, no problem. If you want all of a figures' morphs added to a clothing, you can do that too, but you have to do some exporting objs, importing objs, and loading morph targets for each of a figure's body morphs. btw, Wardrobe Wizard 2 is coming. No doubt an upgrade to WW is going to do some pretty cool things. ^^ bB

I'm wondering if it'll also be priced more competitivly, since it has competition now.. ;)

Attached Link: Morph Magic at DAZ3d

The Tailor, at DAZ; Morph Magic, also at DAZ -- both programs designed to do exactly what you are asking.  I have used, and still use, both of them.. though I lean more towards Morph Magic as its interface/use is a little more user friendly and it can work on multiple items at the same time

Probably two prices. A discounted rate for the ones upgrading from WW1 and full price for those who aren't.

Actually probably 4 prices.. intro "promo" prices for both new users and also for upgrade users, and then probably normal prices after the intro period is over.

PhilC is also the wizard of helping people.  If there's ever a question about one of his products, or about Poser in general, PhilC takes time to figure it out and give an answer.

hahahaha. I did beta test WW 1 before it came out. That was an open beta test. And since details about WW2 are not being leaked out on the forums, I think it's safe to guess WW2 is a tightly kept secret. -^ bB

Take a look at Bar-code 's Gallery, he is a beta-tester for WW2 and posted some examples.
Quit impressive!!

Looks like the cat is peeking out of the bag. -^ Yes, I'm beta testing Wardrobe Wizard 2. I threw a really hard outfit at WW2 - V4 Florentine Hunt converted to custom morphed M3 figure: Boots, Shirt, Belt, and Jacket (yes, the jacket is dialed "Open .500" for a more manly frock coat look) I don't think I can tell you guys any more about WW2. Here is the render with no textures. Conversion was done on a Mac, outside Poser. Note quality of the conversion, female to male conversion areas of interest in the chest and pants, snug tailored fit, long coat, sleeves that extend over the hands, big wild collar, and V4's boots on M3! oO! ^^ FH4.jpg bB

WW-2 is awesome. You can convert shoes, hair clothes at a very high quality. It will also be a real benefit for poeple creating their own products. The quality is excellent.

Here is a render of my Aiko "Sweetie Pie Corset" converted to Miki2. The link shows the original. cheerio  lululee

Another real benefit for developers is the conversion transfers all of your unique morphs and body handles into the new item. The "Sweetie Pie Corset" has peek a boo morphs like 'front up" top down" etc. They transfer flawlessly. It is a real time saver.

Another one. These were all done without using Poser. cheerio  lululee

I think this will really stimulate the market for a lot of characters that have slipped through the cracks due to lack of clothes, hair, shoes etc because the conversion quality is so good.

Wow, I think Crossdresser is going to have some touch competition: this looks great!
Almost can't wait to have it!

Thanks for Peeks.

Here's my first pretty render of a conversion, -- today I converted V3 Scifi Leather to M3 in WW2 SA. The only thing M3 is wearing that was actually made for him is the googles. (The hair I morphed in Blacksmith.) I used some of the really cool new options in WW2 to alter the look of the outfit. Hopefully I was able to manly-up the outfit. ^^;;; This is the original: (Yes, M3 wearing everything in this outfit! lol) http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/itemdetails/-/?item=4568 Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket fyi, I tried to convert this outfit before and was disappointed. I originally bought the outfit because I wanted the top to make an outfit something like Spider's in "School of Rock." lol. I tried to do a conversion by hand in Blacksmith too. Thankfully, WW2 did the best job of all (and far faster that I could! ^^; ). Kudos. ^^ bB

I have crossdresser and morph magic, and was going to add WW to the tool box as a first use tool because it converts to morphed figures. But with the news of WW2 on the horizon, I'm waiting with baited breath. One feature of PhilC's products people haven't mentioned is PhilC. He provides help when asked, and even helped me on a few occassions while I was evaluating WW.

Thanks. Lululee.^^ Yes, PhilC and Kamilche have A++ customer service. Even while beta testing, they listened closely to what the testers said, implemented suggestions, and when it came to problems, they came back with solutions, some of them were pure genius! WW2's development was like watching a beautiful work of art being made. The results are quite stunning. Yea! ^^ bB
