This is a quickie jewelry shot, with fluorescent light with a highlight from a flashligh, no diffusion. The metal sticks out a bit since the light was not diffused. I needed a quick pic for the company files.

The stone is a tourmaline of unusual reddish color with orange reflections in the right lighting. The setting is gold. The stone is about 23mm edge to edge, from Afghani material.

This sort of stuff is fun to do compared to fixing a broken chain. Tom.

James, actually the gravels between the tracks is best..not show well in previoius image.

This one is reflections from a glass ball building about 200 feet up.

Love the jewlery piece! The colour is so unusual. The tracks do create some very interesting images. The reflections from the ball compete with the look on the photog's face for favorite in my book.

And it worked. Trying to duplicate the default bg 'rosity color and have something extend beyond the image frame without another frame. Ok...well, perhaps useless experiment but it worked, almost. There is a slight border showing of the original frame.

Was digging through my old Konica pics, i totally forgot about this one. We were at Perth zoo. The orangotang (spelling, I know), picked up a 20 litre bucket, put it on its head and proceeded to climb to the top of its "Scaffolding" without missing a beat. These poor guys must be bored out of their minds.

Thanks Radlafx, I don't have this shot in my gallery... yet, I wasn't sure it was really good enough. I do have a couple of other shots I took at at the same time though.

This is a wider view, the gantry is for acces to some pipes that run to/from the river just out of shot to the right. I actually stood on that to get the shots that are in my gallery. :)

And this is view looking in the opposite direction from the above shot. This looked even better about 10 minutes earlier as the mist was a lot thicker and all you could see was the top of the bridge sticking up through it - unfortunately I didn't get any shots of that as I was too busy concenctrating on the sunrise in front of me.
