Where he wrote: "Poser families", and the expansion packs; listing all the figures, he's saying they're freely supported as of right now? So if you wait awhile, the figures listed would cost $10 for support? Like Evilinnonce does with licenses?
I need clarification as I'm weighing my options. Already bought CrossDresser and Netherworks Magnet Kit. I recognize the value of WW2 as you would no longer have to worry about hair fits, boots, and most of all I wouldn't have to use magnets when clothing morphed figures.
If you get ""ERROR> Exception: Vert not found!" " It means the clothing analysis needs to be redone. I had this happen to me once. Click the "Force Reanalysis" button, and try again. OR The items you are converting doesn't have the obj in correct position for the figure. I ran into this problem when converting the G2 Ramses outfit to M3. Used Koji as the from figure. When i checked in Poser to see if the golden beard lined up with Koji, it didn't! So I used the Koji Morph on the beard, then it fit. Next I exported the obj in position. I used the exported obj as the clothing for WW2. Worked like the charm. No problems. ^^ bB
seems to work pretty well for me so far - V4 Biostate Lamination suit here I come :)

Buy stuff on RedBubble
there is a WW2 folder in whichever runtime you converted to which contains the new CR2 file and a PNG image of it

Bought it, and have been converting items for Apollo all evening. I love all of the new dials to refine the conversions, and the FBMs are to die for. So fast and easy!
Can't wait to actually get a full outfit done (I'm doing parts, so not to have unnecessary morphs loaded). Having fun with the possibilties, though :)

Have you read through the pdf file that comes with WW2?
Have you read BastBlacks post here?

I would copy and save these tips as well.

The removing of all WW1 data is IMHO better ..they are not compatible so i think you never go back to WW1..
And i have Both version pointed at the same folders..
BUT the figure data that comes with WW2 has to be in 2 folders one in the WW2 SA folder and One in the Poser pyth. etc etc WW2 folder...

If you are using WW2 inside of P7 I would agree that removing WW1 is probably better. Using the stand alone version, which is what I have to use in order to get PPP compatability, I still have WW1 installed with no adverse affects. It makes it nice to have the versitlity of WW1 if needed:)
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
Has anybody tried WW2 on a clothing item that didn't convert well with WW1?
I did find that Crossdresser was able to do a good conversion on an item that WW1 didn't. That's not a slam against WW. I like the program. It was hit or miss on a lot of products.
My visual indexes of Poser
content are at http://www.sharecg.com/pf/rgagnon
I have downloaded it and I am trying it now. The first items I converted were not too complicated, but converted better than with WW1. I often had problems with crushed and crumbled structures and seams with WW1, but that is no longer the case with WW2. It seams as if WW2 no longer use poser magnets for the conversion, which helps to keep the structures intact.
The new "fitting morphs" are MUCH better than the old smooth and inflate/deflate buttons. You can batch-convert a stack of clothing overnight and fit it to many figures. All together worth the price, IMHO.
I haven't tried really complicated stuff, but my main problem with WW1 were the distortions in the mesh, and they are gone. in Version 2. So I am pretty optimistic.

Amazing update with many supported characters! :thumbupboth: The installation is somewhat tricky, but not a real problem for Poser veterans. My old serial file works well with the new version of WW2.

This is really splendous!!! It is fast, it is easy, and it does more than Crossdresser, Morph Magic, Clothes converter all together. Especially the tranfer of the original morphs is super. I converted the morphing cocktail dress of DAZ which is one of my favourites and I could have all the original morphs I wanted.
Chapeau!

i bought it and highly recommend it.
the stand alone works great!
i converted infamous jacket with ww1-had to fix the joint parameters-same thing with cross dresser, but ww2 it came out fantastic! no need to fix those joints. have converted tons of stuff all ready...

I've tried the Demo--like the WW1 demo it handles the P4 and P5 adults, and things like the P5 Combat pants and jacket are useful. In WW1 there were distortions of the mesh--things such as buttons stopped being round. The result was usable. Doing the same conversions with the WW2 demo, the meshes are essentially clean: round buttons and no sign of other distortions. The upgrade is very tempting.
"Has anyone had success with the morphs? I tried analyzing a morphed Hiro character, and the message was that character wasn't supported because it couldn't find the .obj." Success? Oh yes! First I analyzed all the Full Body Morphs that M3 with all it's body morphs injected had. Then I converted a clothing item to M3 adding a dozen (or so) of M3 Full Body Morphs AND the original morphs the clothing item had. End result: a converted clothing item with a selected M3 FBMs, original morphs of the clothing and the extra material dial morphs that WW2 generously adds when asked to. The converted item was one that was very hard for WW1 to handle correctly - Daz M2 Viking Tunic. Had no problems to do this with the WW2 plugin version.
Circumvent if you could please let me know which paragraph in the various text readme files or PDF help file or on line help file or section of the included video tutorial is causing you confusion and frustration I'll be only too happy to explain further. Based on the information contained in the help section entitled "Footwear" which shoe type did you select?
I try to write the readme's and help file to be as clear and accurate as possible but am always attentive to posts that indicate that the doccumentation requires some fine tuning.
flibbits, what is the name of the OBJ file that your Hiro character references? The one that is supported is blHiro.obj
Thanks.
Hmmm. Any idea why it hangs up when I analyse V4 morphs? In the standalone, in the lower
window, I can see it go through the analyse function, but when it gets done, it hangs, accessing
the HD forever, or until WW2 crashes, whichever comes first. :) Is the a problem specific to the
standalone, or to V4? Should I install the plug-in, since I use Poser only rarely, I never installed
the plugin in order to save space.
Greywolf
If it "starts accessing the hard drive" it will be because your computer has run out of virtual RAM memory and has to find some more by using any available on the hard drive. What other applications were open at the time? How much RAM memory does your computer have? How full is your hard drive? When did you last do a system clean up and defrag? I think the answer may lie in those questions somewhere.
Even a reboot would help.
Or analyze the V4 morphs in stages, maybe 5 at a time?
Hi Phil. Well, the plugin did the V4 analyse and the standalone did the conversion using the
analyse data from the plugin. :) Doing the morphs 5 or 10 at a time sounds like a good idea.
I didn't know it could be done that way, but now that I do, I'll do it that way from now on. The
HD likely needs a good cleanup and defrag, which likely aggrivates the problem. Guess I'll
have to stop procrastinating and get on it. :)
