Figure Size is definitely a bad name for that option. It makes sense only if you understand how it works - then I'd still avoid using it! :)
What it means is that there is a 'standard' Figure size. At 100%, the object being imported will be scaled to fit that size (no matter how big or small it really is). At any other percentage it will be scaled additionally to that percentage of that size. This option might be useful if you know that your object is 'twice as big as' (however that is to be interpreted) as a Figure (?) - then you would use 200%. Got me...
C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the
foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg
off.

Very non-intuitive. I read the help document and finally understood to what it meant by figure size. To me importing the prop in original size is what you would want. You could always rescale. I also have been using VUE and it does something similar but I always leave the scaling alone while importing and then work on the object once it makes it to the scene.

I am working with some props and have them as I want them. I export as OBJ. Then for some reason when I import them back into the Poser scene they are HUGE!! They are scaled at 100% at this point but to get them back to size I have to re-scale them after the import to about 4%.
What is going wrong with this? tks
