I thought this was pretty amazing what can be done quite simply here.

The "body naturally following the limb" is basically what we have on Maya right now (thanks to Alias buying Kaydara a while ago). You still have to do the skinning yourself with the standard tools, though.
It's too bad that Maya relies on the CPU for most of the calculations. Since (the hearsay is that) GPUs are now faster than CPUs, it would be only logical that 3d apps sent more data to the GPU instead of relying on the CPU...

Hi Sergio, i think this is a matter of time to begin to use the GPU,as you know Maya and good GPU cost a lot of money, so its great to havethis king of thing in low expensive software like Carrara,Silo.
But I saw this in another softwarethat works great modeling:

Looks promising, really promising.
Interesting to know is which way does all thing will go - does all those new level features will be integrated somehow into existing software like Maya, 3DS max, Lightwave and all others or there will be totally new software to come?

That's really cool. The mocap stuff at the end had me lol though (I could picture monsters from something like Doom dancing to the song "I'm so pretty..."), yet the guy commenting stayed as calm and monotone as in the rest of the presentation.
