As you've probably  guessed I'm a big fan of Vintage things & that includes buttons. I love looking thru the old button boxes but they're getting harder to find anymore.   While these are close to the looking like the real thing, they aren't in a box & can only be used digitally.  Enjoy These were made in Photoshop 7 & are in psd format.

OMG! I love buttons too! LOL  I have quite the collection of buttons of all shapes sizes and eras. The vintage ones are the best! I've actually gone to second hand stores and bought clothing just because I wanted the buttons, hehe

Thanks so much for this great gift!

Thanks very much! I've just been doing some textures and bemoaning my lack of decent buttons - these are excellent! :)

I'm glad you all like the buttons. I was wondering when I posted them if anyone could actually use them..
Acadia.. My favorites of the vintage buttons are goofies..like the hat, hankie etc.. & the black victorian glass buttons.  I've never bought a piece of clothing to get the buttons but did buy a pair of 50's sandals at a yard sale because I liked the buttons..

I like them :)
Wish they made buttons like they used to because it seems in the 70's they started having the same couple buttons on everything I buy. Don't know if ladies gets more but for us men almost anything you buy with buttons are the same. Like how much does it cost to make a button.

LOL hewee..  You're right!!  It doesn't matter what style or color hubby's shirts are, the buttons  are pretty much all the same.  Looking on the bright side of it.. It does make it easier to find a button that matches the one that got  lost..

Very easy to find a button to match now days. Guess it was high school or a little later when things changed and all the places in the USA stop making things to wear so we losted the button factory.
Mom would alway cut the buttons off of the old things before turning them into rags and put them in her button can. I mean I am just a guy so buttons are not a big thing but I remember some shirts had some nice looking buttons on them.
Just all the no iron shirts you used to be able to buy that you don't see anymore. I had a shirt once that looked like it was just press with a iron till it fell apart. Only shirt I ever had that had the just iron look that was so good and lasted so long. Was only cowboy shirt too that had snap buttons and hee I got it at Sears. Seen it and was wanting it and it was on sale but then looked and seen I was looking at the boys department so when to the mens and got the same thing but the price was a lot more. I was thin and size small was what I needed. I knew lot of kids were bigger so went back to the boys department and got the same shirt for less money.
What else is gone is the shirt and coat size. I used to wear a size 38 but now days you got S, M, L so you don't have all the sizes like you used to.
