Subject: Poser 7 windows error

Another problem with poser 7. Poser keeps getting a windows error and closes every time a final render finishes. I can render all day in the pose room and nothing happens. I usually render at 2000x2000...200psi. It only happen when a final render finishes. Could someone please help me if you can.  Thanks

Are you using Firefly or Poser4 Render? Also, have you tried using them both?

It could be memories issue.
Could you give us youre specs ? and the error message.

I'm using the firefly renderer. I did not try the P4 render to see if it would happen but I will.

I'm using a 2.40 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processer
2 gigs ram
Geforce 6600 255mb ram

Its an error message that just says that it has encountered an error and is shutting down and asks if I want to send it to Mr. Bill Gates.

Oh and I'm just using the default settings for Firefly.

I reread your problem about being able to render in the Pose room so my idea won't work and once you do a reply you can't delete it.  For what its worth, my problem was a 3rd party hair piece, Poser simply closed in about .3 micro seconds, no warning.  Plutom

It may be possible to determine what's causing the problem and come up with a fix.

It was the two bangs of the Leolin Hair that caused my problem.  I simply deselected the bangs and used the rest--now I have my Amanda Tappin (AKA Samatha Carter-StarGate look alike).  At lease those bangs and my Poser 5 don't get along.

Its doing it on every thing I render. I just may have to try and reinstall and start over. There has to be a conflict with something I just can't figure it out. Thanks

Pagan7Artist had a problem with Poser 7 crashing see his/her thread if your re-installed didn't work.  Plutom
