(When I turn light on & off it doesn't work in animation in poser , why is this ? Pasted into animation shop)

hey that's pretty cool. try using the built-in in poses for your figure so he looks a bit more natural, and ur stock library should also have some hair, unless u want him to look like me....but u are well on ur way to becoming a poser expert...sorry cant help ya with animation, i just use poser for stills right now, but someone here is sure to give u advice!
"Unless You Want Him To Look Like me"

You can not animate the ON / OFF parameter to make a light blink but ...
You can use the "Intensity" parameter and change it from normal intensity (1,000) to 0.000 (OFF).
Use the "Break Spline" or linerar spline function to get a quick response from ON to OFF to ON.

As usual, the famous Dr Geep has the answer. Once you get a little facile with the animation palette, you might experiment with adding more keyframes (the existence of a keyframe in a given frame being denoted in the animation palette by the black cross along the spline... see Dr Geep's image). Then if you play with assigning different keyframe types to various keyframes and adjusting the spacing between the "light on" and "light off" intensity parameter valies, you can change the timing and character of the light flashes. For example, Dr Geep's appropriately straightforward, instant flash on / flash off could be modified to a slow (and even acccelerating or decelerating) fade in and/or fade out. And if you want to get REALLY fancy at some point, you could use a python script using a parameter value randomizer (see Ockham's collection of python scripts) to easily make the light flicker even over a very long animation (i.e., instead of keyframing the intensity levels by hand). Good luck, and have fun!

I hope this is in right forum:
A friend bought me a copy of Poser 7 for X-Mas , I really have no clue on it's use , Maybe I'm jumping in at the deep end , My ai*m is to create a flickering light on the right hand wall , I can't even create a decent room hah , Below is an image done in PsP to indicate (Hopefully) a sort of Hallway , Wall lighting on right hand side.
Would this be easier using PsP or is poser usefull for such a task ?
Sorry for being so vague , Sleepless Night's later , Thanks for any input suggestions!
