BagginsBill did water, the matmatic script is on RuntimeDNA, if I remember correctly. As far as I know there is no milk shader, will be difficult to make, since it would need Sub Surface Scattering - Firefly does not have that.
About the sticky goo - I will model some weird stuff for you, it doesn't sound difficult. Give me an hour or so....

Not easy getting the morphs right today. Nevertheless I have a version ready for you. If you give me your email, I will mail it to you tomorrow.

I have used this texture effectively for seveal "aliens." It is not a seamless tile, but it produces interesting results. It is an original photo of mine, and I release it to anyone who can use it in anyway.

hey - thanks for the reply - it sounds very interesting - I'd love to have it, if that's possible?

Probably edited for spelling, grammer, punctuation, or typos.
Glad when I can help. Can be found in Freestuff now.

I posted a glass+liquid prop there, with a milk shader in it. I may post more there in the future.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
here is a "alien slime" texture I did some years ago :

bagginsbill will be along, to explain any problems with Matmatic. Matmtic is really where you wan to do your editing, as it's Wetness script is where you will edit the Frequency, Size, and Depth of the Droplets.
But meanwhile, if you're inerested in the Material Room file I used, I've found the thread I first started to develop this render with, here.
Bad Magic number is because you need to run the version that is compiled for Poser 7.
They changed the version. I had to recompile and redistribute.
Go to this thread:

And then scroll down to post #6. That's where I posted the working Matmatic for P7.

After starting to play with the morphs in combinations, I realized that I can almost get to a wine-glass or other stemware with just a couple more transformations. After a couple more iterations, I'll have a single prop that can become any type of glass, tumbler, shot glass, martini glass, wine glass, or goblet. It also morphs into bowls pretty nicely already. It would be a simple trick to make it into a plate. Anything that's round.
If you look closely, you'll see that one of them has a cut glass effect. Poser isn't rendering that too well. I'll figure it out. Once I get that dealt with, I'll add a bunch of other cut glass morphs.

sorry for yet another 'looking for' thread...
has anyone come across a set of liquid materials/shaders? I'm particularly looking for ones which approximate to: beer, milk and muddy water...
Also, and this is quite an odd request, lol, I'm looking for a prop (esp morphing) that simulates some kind of 'sticky' goo stretched between two surfaces - sort of the thing you'd get if you put something sticky between two objects and pulled them apart so that the bit in the middle thins and stretches (...lol, it's for a yucky alien type scene!)
thanks for any thoughts! :) :) :) :) :) :)
