Subject: Is Fractal for the Experienced Users?

Thorrax ( ) posted Tue, 26 February 2008 at 6:47 AM · edited Thu, 28 November 2024 at 10:43 AM

Hello Friends,

I have been admiring all the work that is created using Fractal and I was wondering if it is a software for the experienced to use or can someone like me who has no experience with graphic programs be able to use it? I realize like all software, it takes time and practice, I am just looking for a way to get into Fractal and hopefully someday into 3-D graphic design.

Thank you

Thorrax

Welcome, Fractal is not a program but some kinds of math formulas that bring very nice designs and pictures and we create images from them that have a great aesthetic appeal. For softwares, please have a look there:

There are different fractal programs, so see what images you like, find out with which program it was made and just start trying. We all had to learn and maybe the one program is easier to work with than the other, but that also differs from person to person. And don't be afraid to ask for help.
Good luck!

I would say that this looks more like a kaleidoscope postworked photograph of someone's dinner.  It's very interesting but it's not a fractal.
