interesting image, if you hadnt of said eclipse, I would have mentioned getting rid of the shadow on the planet. The nebulas look ok, but really stand out in the image. too bright maybe. especially if you use the planets backside shadow in conrast to the 'brghtness' of the nebuli. Id like to see how this progresses. Ken
Way to go, P. looking good. I agree with Ken's comments. Maybe one way to deal with the eclipse is to make the shadow larger and give it a fuzzy edge. I haven't tried it yet but can you make a moon sphere that's got a fuzzy edge on it and positioned for a large shadow (which hopefully will be fuzzy too), then put the actual moon sphere over it with cast shadow unchecked so the moon looks real?
