Subject: Natural Gravity Morphs...

I can't get any of the NGMs to work. Not for V3, not for GND. Nothing.
I apply the INJ but nothing happens. Well, I guess something sort of happens. A dial appears in the "Body" tab called "PBM-NGM-E" but when I spin that dial...nothing happens. Nothing happens when I apply any of the specific morph poses either. For instance if I apply the NGM-B pose...nothing happens at all. No dials appear, nothing changes. Any suggestions?

Check to see that you have the correct version (ie V4 for V4)...then, look to see you do not have an upgrade (this happened to me) for Aiko x.xx & Stephanie Petite x.xx. It won't even work for them unless you have the original for V3 or V4 installed first.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply. I have installed V3, and I have NGM for V3. Still no luck.

Hmmm. Any other suggestions?

One common cause of Body dials not having the expected affect on PBMs in body parts, is that the figure you've INJected them into isn't the first one to be loaded in to the scene.
The simplest solution is to have a blank scene as the default.
If other INJected morphs are working, you'll need to go into more detail about what you're doing before you INJect the NGM.

Have you purchased the Head and Morph packs?  The information in the packs go into those slots I believe.  Jan

After injecting the NGM morph, scroll down and double click the size you want...  there's presets for differing size breasticles in the NGM (V3) folder!

Hope you get 'em working as they work great!!

Nruddock, tried applying the morphs on a model that was the first model in a new scene. Still no luck. Grrrr.

Jan, the head and morph packs for V3?

Gerard, yeah thats what I've been doing. Dosen't change the model at all or add any sliders or do...anything really.

Still trying. I'm fairly computer literate as well. Seems like it should be easier than this.

ghelmer ( ) posted Thu, 06 March 2008 at 8:14 AM

That's weird!!!  Too bad too as they really do work great!!  If I didn't purge my gallery you'd see some really great examples of how great they work!!  Rats!

So, V3 WITH head (not really needed for NGM) and body morphs from DAZ, NGM morphs injected and nothing???

Really weird!!  What version of V3 are you using???  That may play into things!

Yes, the head and body morph packs for V3.  However, looking at your extensions PBM-NGM-E etc.  you have.  I think that Gerard idea is worth checking out.  Do you have the V3-SAE version?  Jan

bopperthijs ( ) posted Thu, 06 March 2008 at 10:57 AM · edited Thu, 06 March 2008 at 10:58 AM

Do you have the latest update of NGM or an old version? The old version needed a special V3-cr2 file to work, cause in didn't had the right channels to let it work with the original V3-cr2. The latest update has a special python script and works with the original V3-figure.

Bopper.

Posermatic ( ) posted Thu, 06 March 2008 at 11:02 AM

Hi, there are two possible problems here: one is that the inj files are not in the right place and the other is that you don't have the right version of V3.

Since you can see a PBM dial in the body part then the files are at the right location so we don't have to worry about this :)

This lead me to think that the version of your V3 is an old one so please go to the DAZ store and redownload a fresh V3 which should be the SAE edition or the SR2.

This versions had more empty morph channels in the CC (community channels) area than the old ones and NGM products use more or less the last 10 channels to avoid conflicts with other injectable characters or morphs.

The head and body packs use another set of empty channels, they use their own set named DC (Daz channels) so you can feel confident working with those and with the NGM ones.

Thanks for all for the support here, glad that you all enjoy working with NGM!

Posermatic ( ) posted Thu, 06 March 2008 at 11:06 AM

Hi Bopper, the one that has a python version is NBS (natural breast system) not NGM

NGM products don't need this since the empty channels are already there.

The acronyms are kind of confusing sometimes..I know ;)

jim_malone_1234 ( ) posted Thu, 06 March 2008 at 12:26 PM

Yay!!! You were right. I had an older version of V3. Thanks so much!! You've been a big help. All of you. Cheers!!!

Oh boy, now we're going to see lots of 'breasticles' around here. Great name for them ghelmer! :thumbupboth:

I don't purchase Poser stuff anything like I used to in the past but those NGM's are well worth the money. Nice one Posermatic.

Awesome it all worked out Jim!  Here's something (that was in my gallery before the big purge) to hopefully inspire!!  Sorry for the size...   and I don't mean the pic itself! :blushing:

Hi Posermatic,
You're right I messed up those two acronyms, but my idea was far away from the solution.
BTW is there a NBS for V4 coming?

Best regards,

Bopper.

*Good news Jim!

*Thanks Stormchaser!

*Great size Ghelmer...for the forum and for the breasticles ;)

*Bopper, the NBS for V4 is a long and sad story that is better not to remember...sigh...But rest assure that when I make peace with it will be in the market place later this year.

Posermatic - Just wanted to add that the NGM V4 work brilliantly with A4 & especially the NGM V4 Petite.
Thanks.

Posermatic ( ) posted Fri, 07 March 2008 at 6:34 PM

Yeah, I love the A4 shape (which is exactly like the one of A3) so I'm glad of how the NGM looks on her.

I have found though that the only FBM of A4 that is not totally compatible is the Stylized, maybe I will make a set just for this FBM.

stormchaser ( ) posted Fri, 07 March 2008 at 6:46 PM · edited Fri, 07 March 2008 at 6:47 PM

I love the A4 shape too because it is so similar to A3. I tried the NGM Petite on A4 just as a test, they just worked perfectly. You could even use the normal V4 breast dials with these morphs for extra shapes & sizes, just so many extra options that I didn't expect.

corleone1 ( ) posted Mon, 19 May 2008 at 7:25 PM

I just wish for one thing in all of renderosity right now and that is nbs for v4 and aiko 4.... Daz is doing a so so job with their morphs for the breasts in their mesh and nbs "is" the perfect tool to get the look i need for what i wanna do.

Ahhhh...the wait is just killing me....

peace!
