Subject: Rebuilding Bat-Tevaa: Nudity

This is the front view (to date) of the figure that I'm working on.  I scrapped my previous mesh attempt, and have started over again.  My intention here is keep the figure as low-poly as possible, for workin with in Max, with a possible Poser adaptation too.  Wortkin with Max has taught me two things: 1. The lower the polygon count, the easier it is to animate and render.  2. Better results are often achieved through texture and displacement maps than through miniscule modelling. Reference photos are by Levius, and can be obtained here in the MP. Crits, comments, & advice welcome. DPH

Side view (obviusly!).  Still a long way to go, but the journey has been interesting.  Haven't felt this challenged since I remapped Posette.  Wish me luck. DPH

I'm also doing my best to make the figure anatomically correct.  For this, I used a UV map of PosetteV3wG's genitals as a stencil and then using splines I modeled my own version. DPH

Bathsheba, or Bat-Sheva as it is actually pronounced literally means Deaughter Seven, or Child (f) of the Pledge; in a similar way that Beersheba (or BearSheva as it's pronounced in Hebrew), the large city in the south of Israel derives it's name as the from the seven wells dug by Abraham.  Its alternate meaning is Well of the Pledge as symbolizing the pledge between Abraham and one of the local kings.

I named my figure Bat-Te'vaa to mean Child (f) of Nature.

Speakin of Porn, here's a view of myefforts to provide the figure with those unmentionalble orifices, so that now she can some sick, obscene FUN!  I'm even thinking of providing her with a digital uterus and ovaries so that she can become as digitally knocked up as Katherine Heigl

There are even a few 3ds fetuses out there that I might be able to include as props.  Then with the proper geometry, we might be able to do in either Max or Poser the sequal: 'Digaltally Knocked Up by Dave!" (Just imagine what kind of 'Crowning' scene we could have then!)'"  As Dr. Geep says: 'In Poser everything is possible and posable!'

gad..there's likely a site devoted to stuff like that...there is for everything else...;)

don't know much about Hebrew...all I know is some Yiddish...but you know what they say "beware of a Goy that speaks Yiddish..."...;) And that's mainly from a Sci-fi story called "I'm looking for Kadak", which included a glossary...;)

**Its kinda hard to really see what going on in the pictures due to there resolution. So i might be wrong, but then you can just ignore what i write :)

(English is not my native language, so some of the stuff might not make sense, but ill try to do my best :D)

However based on what i can see on the images, i would suggest that you try to model the mesh in a way so it follows the curvatures of her body in such way that it flows with the muscles and bones. Whatever defines the shape of her body.

The easiest way to model, at least for me, is to start with a very rough shape with as few polygons as you can get away with and then get as much details out of it as possible, when you cant get more details out of that shape,  you add more polygons and get as much out of that as well, and so on. and you keep doing that until you are satisfied.

Said in another way :)

Start by defining the overall shape of the ribcage, arm, head etc. After that you can start to add details, like how does the upper body and legs connect to the pelvis. But always model the largest shapes first. Dont start modeling every single muscle after you have defined the overall shape, start with the big ones and work your way down. You can always add more details later when they are in place. Also it will make it a lot easier for you to model the mesh so it follows the natural flow of her body. And its easier to avoid getting a lot of unnecessary  polygons.

Which will become important later on, if you plan on rigging her and use her for animation. Otherwise you might end up with the mesh bending unnatural.

Also looks like the shoulder area could use a little more details especially if you are going to animate her.

Other than that it looks good go go poly :)

Anyway as i said its not that easy for me to see it due to the resolutions of the images, so you might already be aware of it :)
